Amma has always been too harsh with her kids. Yes, sometimes rudeness and harshness works but some things are delicate. And should be handled as such. She shouldn't have outright told Raghav to support Pallavi behind Keerti's back. That completely manipulated the situation in a wrong way. She should have first tried to make Keerti secure that she is not going to substitute her with Pallavi seeing how her bond with the latter was irking her daughter. And then she could've tried to reason with her.
Raghav's methods were wrong from the get go. He messed up a lot. That slap wasn't necessary. Bribing Sunny was a complete wrong move. And though somewhere he was the only one who did something right by his sister though (I feel ) becoz he agreed to take her blame and get jailed.
Pallavi though a good friend at first was too involved in trying to take the truth out (Mandaar's case) than remember that at one time the person she is hell bent on incriminating was the one who stood in her support. Agreed that truth should be supported but you do not need to be so bloody brash while dealing with it. Had Raghav not changed the pen, Keerti would've been arrested. Imagine the trauma of a person who had suffered that once without any fault of hers.
Keerti is tied with the shackles of her dark past just like Raghav as well. For two years, Sunny has only been her bright spot. It is understandable why she wants to hold onto him. And these three's handling of her is so grossly wrong has added to her belief that Sunny is the only one who actually loves her. Maybe in the effort to save her illusion she overlooks certain facts.
I am not telling that she has not done anything wrong. She has! And she should be punished accordingly. But telling that she doesn't deserve to be redeemed is not something I believe is right. She should be given a chance.
This is my take honestly. You are welcomed to disagree.
Keerthi has not been just horrible she has been horrendous. She outright agreed to the plan of drugging a woman, a close friend of her to satisy her needs? Is this a small mistake that can be forgived? Even keeping her nasty comments aside, how can this be "redeemed" ? She is hell bent of ruining her brother's marriage for what? To be with Sunny, knowing her once friend will be stuck with a pyschopath? And her brother will be heart broken? What kind of malicious attitude is that, on top all that she knows Mandaar's karname, phir bhi she agrees to it just for a life with Sunny. How very nice of her.
Wasn't she the one who complained of feeling suffocated being in Raghav's house? Ab kahan gaya woh "suffocation"? Why is she still in her brother's home? Yeh ghar uska Nana ya chotta bhai ka nahi hai, it's the house of a so-called murderer (her terms, not mine ) and how pathetic of her to support a murderer, when she was disgusted with her brother for killing her Nana and Bhai. She is worse than Sunny actually. Atleast the guy is transparent in his intentions.
As for Sunny's love, I have nothing to say except that she is delusional at best and crazy at worst. He gives her no respect nor love. Is she so blind that she cannot see the faults of her love? I pity her. I seriously do if she's that crazy.
I agree, Raghav and Amma handled it badly. Grossly wrong. But it doesnot justify her actions at any cost.
@b: A person can be redeemed only when they realise their actions are wrong. Keerthi toh she is her own delusional world, where she is the devi Maiyaa and Sunny is devta, Pallavi-Raghav are the asur hellbent on destroying her life.
Pallavi has been a good friend throughout. She explained to Raghav that his methods were wrong. What more could she do? What do you expect her to do? Let go of Mandaar's hit and run case because its her friend?
