I'm slightly on the fence with this love/attraction at first sight type of idea. I think it's first important to define what you think of as attraction and love. If you are someone who assumes love is that "soul-crushing, toe-curling" emotion where you feel as though you know the person, then love at first sight might not be your cup of tea. Alternatively, if you are someone who believes "love" is when you actively pursue someone compared to "attraction" where you admire them from afar, then love at first is something plausible.

I think love at first sight could be possible... many times you are attracted to someone based on physical appearance, but sometimes, someone says or does something before you even notice their physical appearance. For example, what if someone smiles at you and that's the memory that is etched into your head for the rest of eternity? It's not their appearance, but smile that sucked you in...

It's a complicated question with multiple perspectives 🙃
