Yeah, Destined was something that was required, I didn't like a broken Emraan Hashmi there, and definitely, a broken Shiva was a big no-no for me🤣

I rarely get free time from studies so have to read 2-3 chapters together

But I loved your style and writing definitely go through everything you write with my Kachuaa speed😆

Shivi OS: Fasting - Feasting..?

It was 8 pm. Shiva was sleeping soundly as he was hell tired and as soon as he came home he didn't even have dinner and directly crashed on the bed and was sleeping. He didn't even talked to her nor smiled at her. He was just drained out.

Raavi didn't mind this at all as her mind was busy somewhere else

She was getting very excited for the next day awaiting

Why not? The next day was Karvachauth!!! The auspicious day was very much important to Raavi Why? Obviously she kept the fast for Shiva

But at the same time it was co-incidentaly their Marraige Anniversary on the same day So she was super duper excited

It had been 2 years to their Marriage. It was an Arranged Marriage but Shivi fell in love with each other in 2 months only

Such was their journey. Even when they got married she had done the karva chauth fast.

Everybody was impressed by seeing that the 2 day old bride was ready to keep the fast for long life of Shiva. That time she had blushed and done the fast, thinking the whole day about her future with her husband, Shiva.

The second year when Karva chauth was their, Shiva had secretly kept the fast for Raavi in order to surprise her. That time she had gotten very suspicious of him but he had maintained his composure not letting her know that she was not the only one who was fasting And then very romantically they had competed there fast by Shiva making her drink water from the glass and then making her eat from his hands

“Jaldi chal na Chipkali bahut bhuk lagi hai..”

Raavi got suspicious and as she narrowed her eyes at his cute antics. “Kyun? Tune khana nahi khaya?”

Shiva bit his lips and nodded in a no. Raavi was shocked “Kyun?”

“Woh tune fast rakha tha toh mein kaise kha leta? Maine bhi tere liye fast rakha kyunki pehli baar fast tune bas rakha tha mere liye.” His cheeks were a bit warm as he scratched the back of his head and looked at her sheepishly.

“Par iski kya zarrorat thi?”

“Acha ji? Zaroorat kyun nahi hai? Tu bhi toh meri wife hai, Teri lambi umar ke liye mein fast nahi rakh sakta kya?”

Raavi was left speechless as she felt overwhelmed that Shiva cared so much about her. She was touched by his this gesture as tears formed in her eyes.

“Tune mere liye fast rakha?”

Shiva just wiped her tears and pulled her closer so he could embrace her close to his hear. “Haan meri jaan. Ab isse pehle ki yahaan chuhe relay race khelne lag jaye, Chal na kuch khaate hain, bahut bhook lagi hai.” He pouted, keeping his hand on his tumy.

Raavi just chuckled and took his arm and they went and had their dinner together.

Raavi came to her senses when her mobile beeped It showed the reminder of her alarm at 4am.

She just hit her head. “Abhi nahi soyi toh jaldi nahi uth paungi. And she also slept.

4am.. Raavi's mobile buzzed indicating the alarm. She quickly turned it off and looked at Shiva.

She didn't wanted to wake him up. He looked very tired and he needed to take rest. She quickly went and took a quick bath.

She came out wearing a beautiful red saree with matching jewellery and went towards the mirror. She wore her Mangalsutra and took a pinch of sindoor and applied on her parting.

Her hair was wet and water was dripping from them. She quickly went to the kitchen to make the sargi. Since Suman and Dhara lived in a house next door, and since Dhara was pregnant, Suman had prohibited her from keeping any fast and had requested Raavi to manage on her own, just this once.

Which meant she herself had to prepare the sargi. She quickly took the utensils and started cooking the kheer for herself.

By the time kheer was on the stove she quickly stuffed an apple in her mouth and started chewing asap.

Soon sun crept in Raavi had eaten the kheer and all the stuff and now her fast had started. She was keeping the things for Shiva when he had went for a bath.

Even when he had got up he hadn’t spared a glance at Raavi and had gone to freshen up. Raavi knew his this behavior. Since last few months Shiva had started behaving very weirdly. He use to get angry very easily and never shared any news with her. He never use to accompany her to any of her shoppings anymore unlike earlier where they use to enjoy shopping with each other.

Raavi use to shrug it away and say in her mind that maybe he was stressed because of his work and that's why he might be busy and was not able to give her time.

But sometimes she used to become sad, thinking that Shiva had changed and that she craved for the same Shiva she had met and fallen in love with.

Soon Shiva came all dressed up in his formals with his bag in his hands. He came to the living room and started searching for his watch. He was not finding it but as Raavi saw Shiva searching for something, she walked up to him and asked him. “Kya hua? Kya dhund rahe ho?”

Shiva ignored her and continued his work

“Mein help kar dun?”

“No it's okay", he continued with his search, but she didn’t miss the tone, which sounded a bit irritated.

Finally she spotted his watch and instantly understood that what he was searching for. She quickly went and took the watch and kept in front of him.

“Yahi dhund rahe the na” she chuckled softly.

Shiva just grabbed the watch and wore it and then he had a look at her. She was looking beautiful all decked up in a blood Red Saree.

“Aaj kuch hai kya? Suddenly itni dressed up ho?”, shiva asked casually while wearing the watch and checking the time.

Raavi's smile faded away as she heard him. Shiva didn't remembered today's day?

“Acha listen mein jaa raha hun”

“Acha suno Aaj jaldi aa jana please?” She asked cutely, while making her famous puppy face to try and appease him.

But he just raised his eyebrow at her. “Kyu?”

“Bas aise hi”

“I'll try”

With this Shiva left for his office. Raavi felt a bit sad as Shiva didn't knew today's important date.

Today was not only Karva chauth but also their Marraige Anniversary. Was he really getting busy that he was not remembering the important days now? Was he purposely ignoring her? Did he started getting bored of her?

All the negative thoughts surrounded her, But the next moment she smiled brightly and shrugged her head enthusiastically. “Acha bacchu? Mujhe surprise doge? Mein bhi dekhti hun kya surprise deta hai tu..”

And she smiled brightly again. Whole day passed like this, Raavi was bored of not doing any work as it was a ritual that the wife who keeps the fast doesn't work for the whole day.

It was 8 pm

Raavi didn't knew when she had fallen asleep. She woke up with a start and rubbed her eyes with the back of her hand. She looked at the time.

Oh Shit!! Shiva will be here any moment. ‘Aur yeh maine kya huliya bana rakha hai?’ She cursed herself as her hair and her saree both were messed up. She quickly went and changed her saree.

She wore another red saree she had and did some makeup.

She left her hair open and walked upto the kitchen to bring the thaali and started looking at the gate of their house. She was sitting on the easy chair. Waiting for her husband Shiva.

Now it was 10pm but there was no sign of Shiva. Raavi was getting very anxious as to when he will come.

Now it was 11pm. Still no sign of Shiva. Raavi was starting to get worried as he usally came back home around 9.30 p.m. She picked her mobile and dialed Shiva's number.

He didn't pick the call. She tried various times, hoping that he will pick up.

Finally after calling for 20th time he picked the call.

“What the hell Raavi. Tujhe samajh mein nahi aata ki jab mein call nahi utha raha hun matlab mein abhi baat nahi kar sakta. Can't you get such a simple thing?”

Raavi was shocked as he had never raised his voice on her in the past 2 years of their marriage. But not only did he sounded angry, he was talking rudely to her, which was a first.

“But mein mein who… Shiva tu call nahi utha raha tha, To maine socha, Acha khair, wo chod. Kaha hai tu Shiva??” she asked impatiently, her heart already hammering against her chest.

“Kaha hun matlab? Office mein hi hun aur kahan hunga mein”

And before Raavi could talk further she heard someone's voice. She was just shocked to hear the words that she had just heard.

“Oh Baby!!!! Kahan ho tu? Come back please..!!”

And the next instance, the line went dead…

Raavi's heart had shattered into million pieces the moment she heard the girl’s voice. Anger coursed through her body as her body was filled with disappointment and betrayal.

How could he? He was cheating on her? Mobile slipped from her hand and tears formed in her eyes. Wow what a surprise he gave to her on this auspicious day. She started to cry bitterly as she threw her thaali and just ripped her jewelry off her body.

Now she understood why he was behaving so weirdly with her. He was already in a relationship with someone, He was having an extramarital affair. She cried and cried and cried and before she knew it, she had fainted due to lack of food in her system.

2am

Shiva finally came home. He started making his way directly to his room. He was pissed off at Raavi for calling him and was about to go and shout when he noticed a figure lying on the easy chair near the terrace.

He went near and found out that the figure was none other than Raavi.

What was she doing here? He saw her face. Her face had stains of tears. Then he looked at her from top to bottom. She was yet again wearing another red saree. He was confused

Then he started looking around for some clue, so he could understand, exactly what was happening.

There he saw the thaali lying on the floor with all its things scattered on the floor. Then everything dawned upon him.

Today was Karva chauth and Raavi had kept the fast for him.

He quickly went towards her and tried to wake her up. But then he got to know that she had fainted. He quickly gathered her in his arms and moved outside to his car.

He reached the hospital and went in and grabbed the Doctor’s hand as he laid Raavi on the stretcher. “Doctor please meri Wife…ise dekhiye please. She has fainted.”

Doctor immediately admitted her and started examining her. Shiva was waiting for the doctor to arrive. He was getting worried for Raavi

After some time Doctor came out. “Don't worry Mr Pandya. She's alright. Bus khana na khane ki wajah se unhe chakkar aa gaye the. That's it. Unhe kal subah tak hosh aa jayega.”

Shiva just thanked the Doctor and quickly walked to a nearby medical store to bring her the medicines.

Next day 7.30am

Raavi opened her eyes and the scene in front of her shocked her. Shiva was sleeping keeping his head on the bedside and clutching her hand tightly within his. She got confused as how come she landed in the hospital? But then last night dawned upon her and tears came into her eyes.

She snatched her hand from his hold and started getting up. By then Shiva also woke up and saw that Raavi was awake. Relief washed over his senses as he thanked God that she was safe.

“Raavi woh mein…”

“Please Shiva mujhe tujhse koi baat nahi karni. And yahaan to bilkul bhi nahi.”

Shiva tried to talk to her but she just turned her face away. “Mujhe ghar jana hai”

Doctor walkled in in the meantime. Yes Mrs Pandya. Ab aapko hosh aa gaya hai to aap beshak ghar jaa sakti hain.You are absolutely fine. But can I ask you something?”

Raavi nodded urging him to continue

“Aap faint kaise hui?”

She felt a lump in her throat and looking at Shiva she replied coldly. “Woh Doctor Mera Karva chauth ka vrat tha. Isilye maine kuch nahi khaya tha.” Her gaze was so cold that he flinched just looking at them. It was as if her eyes were void of any emotion.

“Oh okay, But please ab aap khana khaa lijiye, warna kamzori badh sakti hai. Abhi to theek hai, But next time you please take care.” Shivi just nodded and soon they came out of the hospital and drove towards home.

During the entire journey Raavi rested her head on the seat with her eyes closed. Shiva knew he had done a big mistake. He needed to rectify it soon. In no time, they reached home.

Raavi directly went in while Shiva followed her

“Raavi please ek baar meri baat sun le..”

“Kya sunu mein? Haan? Kya sunu mein? Ki meine kal raat tujhe call karke teri date spoil kar di? Haina?”

Shiva tried to hold her shoulders, but she just shrugged his hands away and moved back, to create distance between them. Shiva didn’t like this one bit..

“Nahi Raavi aisa nahi hai.. Meri baat to sun.. “

“To fir kaisa hai Shiva? Maine tujhe kaha tha ki kal jaldi aa jana. Kyun? Kyunki maine Karva chauth ka vrat rakha tha tere liye. Par tu apne kaam mein itna busy ho gaya ki aaj ka din bhul gaya. Waise bhi aaj kal tu mujhse theek se baat bhi nahi karta. Kabhi bhi nahi. Tujhe pata hai kal kya tha?”

Shiva was confused. “Kya tha?” he asked, carefully.

Raavi clapped her hands while she looked at him disappointedly. “Wow Mr Shiva Pandya. Just wow. Kal hamari Marriage Anniversary thi. Bhul gaye the na?”

Shiva was shocked to the core. How could he forget such an important day?

“Raavi please ek baar meri baat sun le, Phir..”

“Kyun?”, her voice became heavy as she gulped the painful lump down her throat. “Kyun sunu mein? Tune suni thi meri baat jab maine tujhe kal call kiya tha? And thank god maine tujhe call kiya. Usse mujhe yeh toh pata chala ki tu mujhpee cheat kar raha hai .Tera affair chal raha hai kisike saath.”

Shiva was tongue-tied as he looked down in shame. They stood there for some time. Suddenly Raavi saw the time on the nearby clock.

“Ohh I'm really sorry. Tujhe Office ke liye late ho raha hoga na. Tu jaake fresh ho jaa, mein abhi breakfast bana deti hun.”

And she was about to turn, but Shiva grabbed her hand and turned her around. She had started crying.

Shiva quickly dialed his secretary's number.

“Hello Shreya. Cancel all my meetings for the day. No more arguments. And also do one thing. Fire Ishika asap. You got me? If I see her in my office tomorrow then no need to come to office from the next day. You get me? Now do the work.”

Raavi glanced at him, unable to process his words. Shiva’s eyes softened as he was not able to see her like this so he started to explain his situation.

Flashback

Shiva was about to leave at 10.30 when suddenly Ishika his colleague cum assistant entered his cabin all drunk.

“Hi baby!!”

“What nonsense is this Ms Khanna? How dare you talk to me this way?”

Ishita was not at all affected by the way he roared at her. She just walked more closer to him. “Aww baby tumhe kisine bataya hai ki tum gussa hote ho to kitne sexy lagte ho” she finally had closed closed the distance between them, circling his neck with her arms.

Shiva shrugged her hands and pushed her away and angrily. “How dare you to come close to me?”

That's when Raavi had called and when he talked with her, he vented out Ishika's anger on her.

After the conversation, Shiva marched towards Ishika who was stumbling and was about to kiss him. Shiva held her by her arm and threatingly whispered. “Tune mujhse aise baat karke bahut badi galti kar di. You'll pay for it.”

Flashback ends

“Uske baad mujhe ek important delegate ke ghar jana pada. Par mein sach kehta hun”, He drawled out, while pinching his throat. “Mera uss Ishika ke saath koi affair nahi chal raha hai.. are main to aisi cheap ladkiyon ki taraf dekhta bhi nahi hun.”

Raavi was silently crying without looking at him. “Par usse sach nahi badalta ki teri life mein meri koi importance nahi hai. Agar hoti to tu kal jaldi aa jata.”

She cried more bitterly as Shiva was just looking at her. His wife whom he loved the most. Now he realised how much pain he had inflicted on her unintentionally. But now as he has done wrong by ignoring his wife.

Now he only has to rectify it. And he knew how to do it.

He kept his index finger under her chin so that she looks in his eyes. He could only see immense pain. Pain given by him

Shiva remembered the moments they had shared during there last Karva chauth. They were so much blissful. Raavi was sniffing as she tried to remove her chin from his hold. But it didn’t seem to bother him as he was about to hug her that’s when she pushed him away. She was about to go when he again held her hand.

“Please mujhe maaf kar de Raavi. Mein bahut bada Gadheda hun jo maine apne heere ko itni takleef di.. Please ek baar mud ke meri taraf dekh na.”

Raavi could feel the guilt in his voice when he was apologizing. But she still turn to look at him.

He smiled slightly at his stubborn baby. He just left her hand and brought the Food. Next, he made her sit as she was still weak. She had started hiccuping due to continuous crying. He was just soothing her back. As she gulped down the glass of water which he had handed over to her.

He couldn't see her crying as it pained his heart

He bent forward in a swift moment and kissed her forehead, cupping her cheeks and soothing her pale cheeks, wioing his tears as well. He moved down and started kissing her all over her face

First her forehead, then her cheeks, then her eyes. When he kissed her eyes she lowered her gaze and a lone tear escaped from her eyes

Now Shiva couldn't take it anymore.

He just pulled Raavi more closer to him in his lap and smashed his lips on hers. Actually, he had been resisting his mind to stop from capturing the red lips, that looked chapped, but he was craving a taste of her lips. So he took the chance. Next, He sucked the tear droplet near the corner of her mouth and took her upper lip between his lips just trying to deepen the kiss. He was just kissing her pain away which he had given.

He roamed his hands on her bare back to get her to respond to him. Raavi was trying to resist to his kiss but when he roamed his hands on her back, but the moment, he roughly pulled the strings of her blouse, she just gasped out his name which gave access to Shiva and he quickly entered his tongue inside her mouth tasting each and every corner of her mouth

She also started to respond hence giving birth to a passionate kiss

When he realized that they were getting out of breath, He left her lips and moved towards her neck.

He started placing wet kisses on her throat, He was getting better access as she had worn a deep cut blouse, and he remembered that one memory when he had only taken her to the tailor and given her measurements, with Raavi blushing like a tomato and the tailor giving teasing looks to them.

He was feasting over his meal when suddenly Raavi pulled him through his hair and smashed her lips on his thus surprising him

But he recovered from the shock and kissed her back more lovingly. She was kissing him hungrily as if she was kissing him for the last time

Shiva felt bad about this as when his wife needed him he was just busy in his work and had totally neglected to her needs.

After good 10 minutes both left each other.

Both were panting for breath

“Hmmm toh tune apna fast tod liya na?”, indicating towards his lips as he wiped the blood from them, while Raavi had bit his lips in her passion.

Raavi just blushed but grabbed his finger which still had the blood and she slowly pulled her tongue out of her mouth and swiped it across his finger. He just gulped, trying to control himself as he didn't miss the naughty glint in her eyes. She just chuckled as he moved back and smirked at him, trying to tease him for his self-control.

Shiva held both of her hands in his palms. “I'm really very very very very sorry Raavi. Maine apne kaam ke chakkar mein tujhe bahut ignore kiya hai. Par ab nahi. Main tujhe prove kar dunga ki main tujhse aur sirf tujhse pyaar karta hun. Aur kisi chudail se nahi.”

Raavi smiled and was about to say something when suddenly Shiva lifted her in his arms.

“Main koi bhi kaam adhura nahi chodta, ab toh mujhe apna fast bhi todna hai.” He said huskily and winked at her as she settled herself in his arms.

Raavi blushed hard at this words

And the feasting led to a cute baby, 9 months later…

For me, Karva Chauth is a very cliche moment, and I have been damned by seeing the same old thing in the movies, so tried to give a new element to the Fasting, as the title suggests🤣
