Let's relive SAAKK Season 1 together from the beginning, as we manifest a Season 2 together!

Its Valentine, and we cannot have a Shakhi episode without the valentine flavour.

Ok let us get over the fact that Babli has hidden from Anokhi that Vicky is her college/boy friend. But Anokhi being very perspicacious recognises the subtle tension between Babli and Vicky. Anokhi looks so innocent and childish in this pink dress, more ethereal than sexy.

I like our rotund Mr Puri, who knows how to get Mr Shaurya do what he wants since at this present time power is in his hands. The makers did a good job in showing the supremacy of power. Rotund short Puri makes handsome, dashing, tall, handsome Shaurya dance to his tune...

Now to the dance. I put myself as a new student in a college being forced to dance with the Professor who has been all against me from day 1. I would run away immediately. How does Anokhi feel?Had Shaurya not helped Anokhi in getting the truth concerning the ragging, she would have presumable walked out of the dance floor. Anokhi is already in awe of him hence she stays and dance and then their compatibility starts from here. Initially they stumble, but once Anokhi listen and follows Shaurya everything goes on track. Is this an indication for the future development of their relationship. Should Anokhi have listened to Shaurya?

Now to Anokhi, how innocent can this girl be? Her expression when Vicky was talking to Babli was so refreshing. And when she spots Shaurya she hides behind a baloon!😊 Funny girl.

Shakhi is an emotion and we start seeing it as from today... the perfect matching after the initial lurch, the synchronisation in their movement. Shaurya who is very experienced tells his student she does not know what he is capable of! We would like to see Prof. Shaurya...

Why did Vineet have to land here?

Okay that dialogue was such an innuendo..like what?!?

Like he is a master of art of lovema.....

Also, I felt they did show a little tension built up between them too and rightfully so..it honestly felt she waa slightly affected by his physical presence all around her.

The signs of initial physical attraction....She is all flustered and he portraying the full Mills and Boon type guy must have had a lot of hyperventilating fans, actually has.....

Why did Vineet have to land here?

To extend the story and make Shaurya hero no 1

He looked more like lover no 1 to me...

An episode filled with cute innocent funny encounters between Anokhi Babli Vicky and puri and Ss.

Nikki giving those sweet innocent looks and putting her doubts through is a treat to the eyes. All three were looking sweet. It was a pleasing scene to the eyes. Nikki sure has her doubts but anyone would’ve easily guessed instead of doubting. Vicky and Babli.. these two in one frame look so good together. Never seen their scenes in the first watch properly. Babli definitely needs a fun person like Zvicky after all that she is going through in her life. Babli Vicky have my ❤️

Puri another fun person.. it would’ve been nice if his part was extended later as it would’ve added a fun element to Shaurya’s otherwise serious role.

What was it that both Ss and Nikki wanting not to be dancing with each other? Is it the professor student relation that is making them think so? Fate has other plans though. Both avoiding each other sincerely but land up dancing together. Nikki’s innocent reaction not wanting to dance to that particular song and ss saying that he doesn’t want to dance at all with her was funny. Their chemistry in this dance was oozing out. Even Babli senses the tension between them. Anokhi never shies away expressing her thoughts to anyone. Or who would say that to her professor directly? (Dancing skills) Ss… how was it Anokhi’s fault that you missed Puri? And he starts his blame game. Anokhi doesn’t hold back in replying back. That eye lock at the end says it all. There is some sort of physical attraction that has definitely started. This will however not progress soon as they are not likely to be in such situations often and the feeling hasn’t entered their mind and heart.

YES!!!!..plus i think its normal to be attracted to the opposite sex even if its very in the moment or for a short frame

First of all, Babli and Vicky, what a beautiful what if. I think Vicky was built anti- vineet. He loves Babli but gives her space. You can clearly see, all he wants is for her to be happy. I think he is the only person who has guessed that she is in an abusive relationship without her telling him. Notice how when vineet catches them, she asks him to stay away and he does. I think he respects babli a lot! (They should have let this ship sail. It was a beautiful one.)

Its funny to see Shaurya and Puri. (Go Puri uncle!!!!!) I love how Puri makes Shaury do his bidding. Also interesting to note that Shaurya wants to prove that anokhi called the press so badly that here his ego seemed quite missing. So the man can compromise!

It was cute to see Anokhi come out of her academic environment and open herself to even more new experiences. Her insight into Babli and Vicky was on point. And then it was quite natural of her to assume that shaurya wanted to sabotage her because that is all men have ever done!

And again a banter. Both of them have not started realising that they have started giving each other a slight importance in proving their own opinion. The touch of fate and foreshadowing, i love here. Both did not want to find each other but they did...

It was hilarious how scandalized Babli was ?!?!?!? ( dont worry Babli di, so were the TRP aunties and some additional aunties on twitter! ) Because ye toh Nikki ke shaurya sir hai na?!?! :P

The DANCE!

Notice how it started rough, just like their relationship. Shaurya wanted to get over with it and anokhi did not want it to even start and yet when Shaurya lost Puri he did not stop the dance and when he taunted Anokhi, she did not leave. Both could have left. The sequence was beautiful...again stating the importance of a bond where one leads and one learns. But after the initial glitches, you can see a slight natural tension build due to physical proximity (or maybe I am mad, quite possible). By the end of it , the tension is more evident. Its palpable in their body language.

After shaurya's quite evident innuendo, you realise he is still salty about the fact that he is not a good teacher (Betty and their lies!). The girl's opinion matters?

Bhatiya ji in the house to mess it up! But also, Shaurya lands her into trouble again!!

Side note 1 : Anokhi looked young and Shaurya looked hot old. Its the first episode where i felt the age gap, not just in looks but in expression and body language!

Side note 2 : A lot of emphasis on drinking. Shaurya came in and refused hard liquor and then was forced to have one with puri and they gave a monologue on it. I am assuming looking at Shaan's alcoholism, shaurya might consider that drinking is for the weak like love or avoids it.

Side note 4 : Shaurya was HOT!!!! He oozed appeal today and looked like a protagonist from a mills and boon novel.

The fates worked together to get ShaKhi on that dance floor!

Vicky extended the invitation to get Anokhi to the club. Babli did her part to get Anokhi to partake in the game. Puri is the reason Shaurya was at the club and his quid pro quo is why Shaurya had to partake in the game as well. He was the handsome naujawaan and Anokhi was the lucky girl. And together they got to light up the dance floor.

The lyrics were so apt for the ShaKhi love story....strangers to lovers journey! Unpopular opinion, but I'm not a fan of the dance. It's too choreographed and too early in the ShaKhi journey to see it as a romantic dance for me. I like the pre- and post-dance sequence a lot more. But this episode gave us some great dialogues.

Some highlights:

- I loved the way Anokhi confronts Shaurya and Iove the way Shaurya says "please" when Babli asks to take her sister away.

- "Dance gaane pe nahi, music pe kiya jaata hai" Professor and student dynamic!

- When she compliments him on being a good dancer, I'm reminded that she got to see a part of him that even his Badi Ma doesn't know(as per Devi's dialogue during Shaurya's bday party, Shaurya doesn't dance)

- "Aap mujhe jaanti kaha hai......main bohut kuch kar sakta hoon jiske baare mein aapko koyi knowledge nahi" Unintentionally, a very innuendo laced dialogue.

- "Mera teaching method kaisa laga aapko" Shaurya still believes the lies his sisters told him. Why does Anokhi's opinion of him matter? Or maybe it's being compared to Aastha that really irritates him.

- When he said this is not a debate competition during their argument, it felt like a parallel to the post-sindoor shaadi argument when he repeats that.

I normally fast forward most of this episode to get to the next one.
