This is why I have to mentally prepare myself to watch kdramas. I had Ramen for the first time since February (a food I quit) because I saw them eat it. Then last night they kept eating mandus and noodles, So had to pause my drama at 7 at night and drive to go get mandu and japchae.
OH! My brilliant brain came up with a brilliant conspiracy theory. S. Korea purposely puts so many detailed food shots in their drama and movies so people watching them will want to go buy their food. It's like an advertisement for the Korean food industry.
Revelation intensifies*

Everytime I eat I have to have something playing on my phone ( sports/sitcoms/documentary) It’s actually probably a sickness 😆

Me too. I really enjoy watching something and eating. It feels like double me time after a long day. That's why whenever someone from my family wants me to sit at the table and eat with them I am like 🥺why????!
I think research says you overeat when you watch something and eat vs when your attention is on your food. Explains why I overeat! It's the TV, NOT ME!
Craving all the time. With or without the movie.

Yeah no is trying to eat dinner and tell my family how the day went. I eat at work sometimes and often the only chance I can eat is when I’m alone. So tv is my friend there. I understand the binge watching and binge eating part 😆
Not movies but it's books for me. Most of the new things I try are because I've read about it in some fiction I'm reading. Blueberry cheesecake, deep dish pizzas, pumpkin spiced lattes are the ones I didn't regret.
Baki toh 😆
Except Tea , cakes and Indian Mithai , I don’t get tempted with anything else. Because I am , by virtue of being a vegetarian, used to picking up stuff going by their ingredients rather than the presentation.

Me too dude.
Yes in movies or shows the whole table is always filled with different kinds of foods
Millennials(at least those born in the 80's) clock Dhurandhar as propaganda. Gen Z doesn’t even register it as anything that serious. And that’s...
