This was the performance when Arunita became my favorite. I liked her her from the beginning but this performance made me love her.

TBH I became a fan right at the first audition - I felt here is a girl who is head and shoulders above anyone we have heard for a long long time. I was very very surprised when she didn't get the golden mic and you-know-who got it. She was told we want to give you a second chance, and I was thinking "Damn! What is wrong with these people?" The next 10 months told us why this was the case.

Yes my excitement level for the show increased 1000 times when I saw Arunita's promo which was released at the later stage.

Her audition itself was brilliant but I think she was little nervous. Mega audition was on different level.

I think she retained that nervousness for a while because the judges, especially VD, was giving her negative vibes.
How hard they tried to get rid of her in those early days!

Her fans saved her. That is the truth. And some of her fans are with her from her childhood. She has never let them down.

As I never tire of saying - I believe she has the potential to rule the air waves for the next 2 decades at least. But everyone needs that right break and I hope she gets hers soon.

No news or updates today. Anyone knows if they are recording today also? In the interview Raj Surani had said they are recording for 2 days.
