Guys, I wish I could. But, I have only passing interest in Danish and never looked into his antecedents.

Other than the fact that he stays in Laddhawala, Muzzafarnagar, UP and his various achievements including his 1st song produced by Mika Singh, I don't have any hard facts. It is reported that his father's name is Dr. Shahnawaz Ali, and that he is a professor. I find that very hard to take. But, he (Dr. Ali) has a look alike with the same name on the internet (I found that now) who is showered with certificates from round the world for his social work and as an agent of peace. This man is, however, an advocate and to really throw a spanner in the works, he is from one of India's most remarkable places - Bettiah, in Bihar! (all this from FB 🤣). As they say - jo Bettiah nahi geya, wo kaha geya! 🤣

But Danish is very very old. Very reliable sources say that he is from the Kirana Gharana family and learnt music from his grandfather - Ustad Abdul Karim Khan, the founder of the gharana.

As the legendary singer passed away in 1937, Danish must have been fed some magic potion as a child to look like a 25 year old!

The jasoosi request is for YRF - what are these three doing at YRF. Are they singing for an upcoming film produced by YRF?

That studio can be hired by private parties. You do not need a YRF label to record there. It used to be Sony's preferred studio for inhouse recordings till Ram Shankar studios took over. Many idols are familiar with it as Idol 10 contestants have shared many posts on SM showing them shooting there. What they shot remains a mystery to this date.

This from their intro: YRF opened a state-of-the-art, fully integrated film studio in 2005. This one-of-its-kind studio houses three sound stages and is the only complete soundproof and air-conditioned studio in India. The Audio Wing houses the most advanced audio recording and post-production facilities.

Not only in II12 post that also duet jodi's are not changing. PD-ARUNITHA,Nihal/Danish-Sayali. Not sure why?

Neeraj Sir has set up jodis whose voices match eachother..ye log follow karenge apne guru ko..will continue the trend

Maybe some of these recordings are what I believe are called "Scratches" - songs recorded in the voices of upcoming artists just to give the established artist a feel of what is required, before they re-record the one that finally gets used.
