👏👏👏 such a beautiful story... I could literally visualise Ram and Priya... They are too sweet and cute.
Ram's love for food is never ending🤣 it's nice to see Priya handling him so well...
P.S: waiting for the next update.
loved it
priya helping ram control his diet😆
This is just soo beautiful. Ram sulking about his food might just be one of my favorite things. Such a cutiepie. And whole thing with Vedika, that was unexpected. But good unexpected. This is just some lovely penmanship.
4 – Baarish
Priya was grumpy. Mumbai ki baarish was a curse. She had forgotten her raincoat as well. She stood outside the institute under the covering, waiting for the rain to stop. The cold wind blew against her frame, sprinkling drops of clod water. Cursing at the rain, she made her way into the building.
She quickly made a call to Sara Di and told her she wouldn’t make it to the bakery today. She then copied the same message to Ram. They had gotten into the pattern of traveling back together at the end of the day.
She was making her way to the evaluation office to finish correcting the papers of the assessment when her phone beeped.
“kyun?”
A small smile threatened to fall loose on her face.
“Paper corrections,” she typed.
“Be lenient. :) ”
She couldn’t help but shake her head and let out a chuckle.
It was going to be eight. The rain hadn’t stopped. Priya was hungry would be an understatement. Usually she got herself a nice snack at the bakery but today was different.
Today was a horrible day. She was pissed with two students in her class who had dared to back answer her in front of the whole class. She had forgotten her raincoat. She was hungry and it was still raining. She decided to leave.
She reached the gate. The power was out due to continuous rain the street was dark. She regretted wanting to finish all the papers. She dug into her bag to get out her scarf. She began wrapping it around her head.
“Priya!”
Startled she looked up to find Ram standing before her with an open umbrella in hand.
“Aap...yahan?”
“Arey the skies are high today. Itni baarish... ho rahi hai. Tum kaise manage karti?”
“Auto mil jaata mujhe.”
Ram stared at her. She was unbelievable. Always ready to decline any help that came her way.
“What?” she asked when he kept staring at her.
“Nothing. Chale?”
Priya nodded. Ram was a very nice person. She had never met a man who put everyone around him before himself.
“Arey bheeg jaayenge aap.” She said shifting closer to him.
“Bheegne mein hi toh mazaa hai, naa.” He said winking at her, his one arm around her, the other holding the umbrella up. He then leaned out of the umbrella's shelter, shaking his head, enjoying the droplets on his face.
“Paagal hain!” Priya muttered, as they walked to the car.
“Kya, kuch kaha tumne?”
“Maine nahi. Kyun?... kuch suna aapne?”
“Nahi. Come on sit inside.” He said taking hold of the umbrella.
Priya was surprised to find no driver. She turned to him. He leaned forward and pushed inside her kurta’s end and then shut the door ensuring she was settled well. Priya simolg watched the man. He ran across to the other side and closed the umbrella shortly before sitting in.
“Surya uncle?”
“Baarish bahut tej hain naa. So I asked him to drive till his home and then I drove from there.” He turned to the back seat and grabbed a package.
“yeh lo, garam garam pakode. Aise mausam mein naa pakode khaane kaa maja hi kuch aur hai. Chutney bhi hai.”
Priya stared at him.
“Maine sirf ... ek do...”
Priya raised an eyebrow.
“Matlab...Six to seven plus or minus one or two, khaaye honge. Tum Khao naa.. bhuk lagi hogi tumhe.”
Priya was touched. He could have chosen to go back home and have the food oh his choice, sent a driver if needed. But here he was, to pick her up, to bring her food.
“All okay? Pakode se bhi allergy hai kya? We can stop elsewhere... to buy something you like.”
“Mirchi ke Pakode mere favorite hain!” She said, picking one out of the box.
He smiled and started the car. “Pasand bhi hai to mirchi!”
“Kuch Kaha aapne?”
“Haan, chutney achi hai.”
Priya looked away, nothing could stop the wide smile on her face.

All these shots of yours never fail to make me smile like an idiot. I keep giggling to myself in random moments whenever I think of them. The latest is when I was reading a divorce case and remembered the first shot. I was grinning like a fool while reading the case. My professor was horrified, ngl. Such simple yet amazing emotions you pour into them.
