Meera was right to be hurt. And if I am reading the precap correctly it wasnt the forced intimacy which broke her and eventually their relationship but the way he cheapened everything just to sound cool in front of his friends. Its a special moment for most girls (even when it didnt happen) NEVER to be shared with anyone. To have it discussed and dissected before a most cheap group must have been humiliating and insulting for her, even painful. Meera did not deserve that

Adi's behavior was outright disgusting. No girl, however liberal, likes details about tender moments be shared with anybody, let alone become a fodder for entertainment.

If we put a scenario as a whole including precap, he did come across as if he was one of them and pretty same like his friends. he did not only did once but 3 times. a). in the room he did not get angry and though it was not serious

b). in the group he discuss private issue in public. c). He did not stop and keep hurting her even though when she was telling him to and rather than realizing his mistake got pissed off d). lying to friends just for his image.

To me Malhaar comes as a better person than him, yes Manu is pregnant they got carried away in emotion but he took a stand for his love and did tell his mom that he loves her. Adi was also almost same age as malhaar then. both are immature but malhaar for sure takes a brownie points here over his maama.

One more point which I will like to add:

They did not sleep together. For Meera as for most girls this distinction matters a lot. If word gets around in college or society that she slept with him when actually she hasnt it could lead to a loss of face for her. For boys it might be an "achievement" for a girl it just gets her a label of being easy or even cheap. Hence most girls even after sleeping with a man prefer not to make it public even to their BFFs. Sounds archaic but a girl's reputation is truly like glass, you cannot/ should not play with it just to sound cool. Adi did it once in the past. They have shown him doing it again with Manu too. I had found it absolutely disgusting how Adi, Meera and even Amol agreed to spread lies about Manu so the family who was coming to meet her for marriage would cancel the meeting. Such things are definitely not fun and jokes.
