OMG I LOVE THAT!!!❤️
His nickname for her during their courtship after marriage and when they have finally confessed should be "Priye" for sure!. That seems so gentle and loving and suits Ram's character.
I can just imagine her surprise when he calls her that the first time. Their awkward glance and then Ram's quick correction. This continuing over time until finally Ram no longer feels awkward addressing her as that! Ooof my heart!😳
Tiny tiny OS based off of what went in my brain after reading that comment:
"Priye coat pass kardena mujhe itni der ho gayi," Ram exclaims only to blush uncontrollably as he realizes what he has done.
"Priya. Meine bola Priya!" Ram quickly rushed to correct himself.
Priya frowned not realizing Ram's error, "aur mujhe waqt ka asar nahi hota kya? Mujhe bhi der ho rahi hai. Kitni baar kaha hai tumse ki apna saara saman dhyan se raat ko rak do taki der na ho subha.
Lekin nahi. Tumhe toh kharate aur apni tablets se foorsat kahan milti hai".
Ram smiled. Even as she scolded him she didn't stop trying to look for his coat. In her irritation there was a hint of care that rested right in the middle of her nose. Shriveled in anger and huffing away at her husbands lack of care. Ram admired her going out of her way for him. "Acha baba sorry! Lekin please de do na. Aaj raat mein pakka set kardoonga. Thik hai?"
Priya smirked. She was becoming used to him. His childish manner and forgetfulness was growing on her. No matter how angry or upset she was she could never fully yell at him or be angry at him for long.
Priya handed him his coat and they both left for their respective jobs together. Both rushing to open the door they bumped slightly into each other. Priya ignored it and continued to rush out the door to the University. Ram, as much of a hurry as he was in- lingered for a moment. This was his wife. Hardworking, smart, angry, caring, and full of wonder. He didn't know it yet. But he was quickly falling for his "Priye".
