So guys today i was going through the OST (it is emotional), the first teasers which were released at the time of the launch (not a single happy teaser you know) and a few initial episodes (the precedent was set that these two will have no one on their side and sometimes not even each other). Everything right from the start has been so gloomy in this show, thats the vibe that has been there out and out. It feel like they have always wanted to go with showing this as a doomed love story. And the fact that we have come across something in the Ost (aerial graveyard shot) doesn't help but make me feel this is what they always intended to show.

But then i read the synopsis of what these ARY guys have put up IShq Hai in all their youtube uploads. It says "Ishq Hai is a love story of a boy who is madly in love with his girl. Going against all odds to achieve his love".

The first sentence has been proved time and again no matter what the plot has been. The second sentence too stands true for what happened in the first half. He won her not only in everyone's eyes but most importantly her own eyes as well. So now hoping with all my heart that the second sentence comes true yet again and goes against the biggest odd of his life and achieves her (i dont think ise bada toofan in dono ke zindagi main aa sakta hai, Shahzaib himself going against Isra, man, yeh bahut zyaadti hui hai, so yeah for one last time, i hope unka pyaar unhe paar kar dega!) Only then the second sentence of the synopsis will make sense. If he or both die, then it simply makes no sense. Cuz that would mean they lost and most importantly he lost.

Yes I get it. Dekhna padhega yaar, ARY ka synopsis bhi dhang ka nahi lag raha mujhe toh.

But that's the entire point of these two: he loves her so much that he's willing to go to any extent for her. This guy doesn't even want to be parted from her after death. Like Aamna said, "hero ho toh Shahzaib jaisa, aashiq ho toh Shahzaib jaisa". Which girl would not want a guy who is so loving and supportive? And I am not talking about the stupid MU track because there toh...I'll get frustrated now 😆 Neither am I talking about the gun sequence...but the rest of it, was he ever an all-out bad guy?

Right now, Shahzaib is so ashamed of himself that he cannot even look at his own self. He has committed the worst possible crime there is...even if the world forgives him, I doubt he will ever forgive himself. So here's where Isra's decision comes into the picture. If she doesn't forgive him, then he has no will to live. Even if he is alive, he'll be a shadow of his old self. But if she forgives him and holds his hand, then they can literally go through anything. If you've noticed, together they've always been strong, apart its been hell for both of them.

I know its politically incorrect to want this and I don't want any moral policing here, but these two better end up together alive at the end. They've been thru enough shit. Watching the first episode again, I realised how normal they were, just two regular people having a good background falling in love and wanting to get married. Thanks to the families...and yeah no one talks about how Isra's family was demeaning her constantly till her wedding day with Haaris...because Waqar died and that's all on everyone's mind. That poor girl was being told such horrible things as if she was a criminal for choosing her own life partner.
