Ditto yaar, I do wish we are proved wrong. No matter what it hurts to see a strong intelligent character turned into like this just to lift a female character!! Why can't they have tracks where one uses their brains to solve things - I mean once the FL and once the ML??? They can have MUs, they can have conflicts but they learn to walk together admist all this and grow??? And then when they know each other well, solve the problems together!! Communication can be shown so beautifully trust, faith, principles etc all can be factored in and hence both characters can change some if need be.

But well thid won't fetch trps I think and that'd why the tested way is always taken 😡
