Actually they don’t use the songs they shoot with

The audio is added afterwards and they usually change it

From what I've noticed and heard in interviews, the songs they play on set are to help set the mood and then they typically add a different song in the final edit for telecast.

This song actually would've been perfect though! It's evident that this song was the inspiration for that entire scene, yeh gaana use kar hi lena chahiye tha. Either this one or even the title track of that movie.
