Yeah... Generally boys don't care much about the things happening at home so they might not know the process. What they were told by their mother to follow, they will do it. And anyway it's not his job to correct the makers but what with creative and writers? Can't they refer to some movies or better contact some person who is well aware of the culture?? As I said I am highly disappointed with the show showing the telugu culture. And the lame excuse the makers (or even Sai) said for using Appa over Nanna got on my nerves. If they wanted to have other people especially north to understand it, they should incorporate some meaningful dialogue that will explain what naanna means or let keep the base as Tamil. I am making it clear that this is not to offend anyone but can't help myself in raising this point.
