unless ..they are still chalking up something to bring ashok back on board very soon, contractual issues, etc!!

But we will have to see how detrimental it is to the show, if at all it is.

If they hvnt forgotten then I dont really understand why wont they even mention those things now. Not even a single flashback scene . Even if they want to bring Mandar back at some point of time , still they could hv closed some loops.

Mandaar was shown as such an indispensable persona for 100+ episodes but when he was finally introduced, thru couldn't handle it.

They opened so many ends like mystery of wedding night, Mandaar-Ved connection, Mandaar's disappearance from hospital, why did the doctor lie, why was a body found far from hospital, Dr Ramya's unwarranted pressure, Mandaar's obsession with Pallavi etc etc but sadly couldn't close even one of them.

I feel the makers had a long track in mind with Ashok where they wanted to establish his character first as this villian to our hero but sorry to say Ashok/Mandaar was no match to Sai/Raghav(no offence to the actor)

First of all Mandaar is an unemployed middle class man so how was he able to give tashan to Hyderabad ka don, how was he able to challenge him and how Raghav's brains, power, clout and money went for a toss was indigestible to the fans.
Secondly to establish Mandaar they made Pallavi dumb and insensitive towards Rao's which again backfired.

So in order to create the TADKA they sabotaged the only thing which made their show famous that is the romance and the leads and it received such massive backlash that now they just wrapped it up quickly without giving any proper explanation to all the above points.

Anyhow, yes they could have closed all the loops in 1-2 episodes and could have sped it up like they do with Raghvi scenes but I guess that fast forward mode is only reserved for Raghvi.

Now I just hope the makers, the writers, the cast and us the audience are able to move on from this track and forget it like it never happened

I completely agree with you on this...

I mean we had so many expectations... we were waiting for so long for this out-with-mystery track... and RaghVi team to do a major pardafash... with so many clearities reagarding cue of mysteries...

aur hume kya mila? Anda

I cant say that it was worth the wait... not as much as we were expecting...

Definitely the least is the wedding night events have to be disclosed from mandaar’s side of the story and his supposed death mystery..

I dont mind the ramaswamy or blood donation track reveal as much either. Didnt matter much to the storyline .

But more thn dt what you get from these things are the commitment to the story. If you r invested in the story you will remember to tie up these loose ends .These r small things and cn be ignored but it does show one's calibre as a storyteller. A good storyteller remembers every detail bcz in a good story everything is der for a reason.

Baki Mandar ka toh ....I still believe if not everything atleast something could hv been shown abt Ved.

Anyways since you believe so much in the makers .....all I will say is wait and watch . I will be happy if I am proven wrong. Will gladly accept I was wrong.

Yes they will tie up the loose ends, give them time. Most of the creatives work on multiple projects and they keep changing writers directors etc. In such cases it gets very difficult to remember to draw parallels or tie ends. I still believe MHRW has done a better job (it's not on your face but too subtle a parallel - eg: Him asking permission to zip her dress was a direct parallel to when he went to fix her blouse without her permission).

@d.padmini, Raghvi don't know Ved is associated with Mandar. Was there a scene that you refer that I missed?

ved was blackmailing raghav that he will tell the truth about mandar's accident to pallavi during the vat Savitri episodes, we have a scene in which raghav is in sitting in the car and thinking to himself, if that guy is not mandar I will kill ved and if he turns out to be mandar I will not let pallavi know the truth... so it's obvious that ved knew mandar and Raghav knows this ...

If we look back , isn't it strange that it never occurred to raghav how ved knew mandar, actually that should have been the starting point of his investigation along with weird treatment Dr ramya was suggesting but then he was so busy in drinking and crying that he didn't bother to do any investigation at all...

I guess when CVs had planned and rushed in Mandar, the show was under the scanner, they were confident that the track of farz vs pyaar will be hit and fetch them the desired trps...so may be they had planned a long track with him, so initial 2 weeks they concentrated on glorifying mandar, since mandar without a proper back story and a good build up was no match to larger than life persona of Raghav Rao which cvs had created for 100 so episodes, they made raghav dumb , brainless and spineless , may be had they got the desired trps they would have gradually shown his back story and closed all the ends but their plan backfired and they got backlashes everywhere ...and so they changed the track over night , had to get rid of few scens which they had shot and all that..but they had no idea on how to take it further , what to show and what to ignore...what to cover and what not to...the connectivity and flow was lost, the scenes made no sense and were illogical and things got worse ans they took the easiest route to end the track...youtuber... blackmailer..

Sai is a great actor, shivangi is so beautiful..they have a great chemistry..I hope CVs just don't waste them in future tracks..I hope they have learnt the lesson, and they have planned a good track keeping the leads in the mind and will execute it well...so that the show runs for long time..

Yep it is. Raghav never tried to make sense of how Mandar was known to Ved. Probably he thought Ved saw Mandar and went and did google search in jail😆

On a note it was difficult fr Ved to just recognise Mandar from dt accident nd remember him to find out abt him later.

I understand der so called pyaar vs kartavya track didnt work but the reason of dt was entirely different. Like you stated , they tried to dumb down leads to make Mandar look superior which received backlash. But dt didnt mean audience wasnt waiting to see Mandar's story unfold.

Anyways whts done is done . Lets hope Saishi get what they deserve.......a better track that shoecases their talent .
