Ghajini. I’ve watched the movie more than 11 times and was absolutely obsessed with the love story.

RNBD was a stupid film. The moustache was the main actor in the film. 🙂

I can't watch action films again and again....Ghajini was a good movie overall but it was stressful to watch.

I like silly movies like RNBDJ.. 😆

I think Ghajini was silly too.. neither of the movies were sensible logically

Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi for me because it grows on you and has better rewatch value

SRK was just great in his role and was able to deliver a mature and earthy performance. His body language as an awkward man was believable for me and as usual, he made us feel with his eyes.

Loved the songs too.

I was disappointed by Ghajini (Hindi) because it was hyped so much that I might have expected too much. It has no rewatch value for me.

Yet to watch Ghajini.

RNBDJ is a good watch with SRK's performance and music.

I’d rather take Ghajini’s illogical plot than watch a movie where the heroine fails to recognise her own husband because he has no moustache. 😆

Ghajini was more entertaining.I liked it's tragic love story to be particular.

RNBJ was ridiculous.SRK's acting was bad,his character transformation in particular. Anushka couldn't recognise SRK without moustache was ridiculous.

I remember a similar plot in Uttam Kumar and Vyjayjayantimala's hindi film. This film's story was more believable than RNBJ which had minor changes.

Ghajini gave me a bit of trauma.. I hate it that such a nice girl was murdered like that 😭.

I think the 'failing to recognise her husband' was more symbolic - she never really saw her husband for who he was.... its like she didn't really know him at all - he was a stranger to her.

Have you watched Satyam Shivam Sundaram?

Shashi Kapoor doesn't recognise Zeenat; in the climax she says.. aapne mujhe theekse dekha hi kab..?

But was it so unbelievable though ? One can even wonder if she took a proper look to her husband's face before meeting Raj.

Also, her husband changed everything about himself, from bis body language to his looks (he shaved bis moustache ; took off his glasses) passing by language and overall attitude.

It's easily understandable that she couldn't fathom that Surinder ans Raj were the same person. One was cool and outspoken while the other was an introvert and old-fashioned middle-aged man.

It would have been interesting to have her character describe her husbands features to grasp if she could go into details or if she only gave an overall description.

True.... there was symbolism behind it, though as you mentioned it was literal as well - she didn't really look at her husband because he was not the type she had in her mind for a life partner. She just thought he was boring.. she had a preconceived notion about him and she was blinded by it- she couldn't fathom raj & Surinder being the same person at all..

..while he was so in love with her - he not only understood what she was looking for - he became that person... also he noticed every little detail about her
