Ur right, it wasnt necessary. In fact it's not like the kissing scene was crucial to the track. If they really wanted to get Milind and prachi to share a moment of intimacy they could have tried something else. for instance, pulling off an SRK- when he ran his fingers sensually across Kajols face-KKHH or even michi hugging each other sensually or in a more intimate way unlike the other times they hug each other. Given that they JUST became friends, a kiss could have been redundant. Besides, Panchi could have easily put her foot down if she didnt want to do the kissing scene.. many actors in the past have done that (case in point - Rajeev Khandelwal refused to do a rape scene in KTH thereby having the script altered) After all, she did go through the C-night, the coutroom hug, the 2nd hug at the beach when milind thought he was imagining her presence there or even sitting on milind's lap when she gifted him that watch going on to hug him later. All those scenes couldnt have been her BD, right!? But going ahead with the kisssing scene meant that Panchi knew what she was doing.

Anyway, by saying this, in no way am i trying to suggest that Panchi is lying as much as my post may sound like it is. Im only questiong the authenticity of this article and why the kissing scene was so imperative if the lead actor was opposed to doing it!?

MICHI HAS HAD bolder scenes compared to any other BT couples.i think only ejaz,anitha have done these type of

Thats the whole point...When there was no problem with doing a C Night, then why such a hue and cry about this 'kiss' which actually wasn't even a kiss! I guess its all a medis hype...I doubt they've shown something like this on Indian Television in a long time [I guess last was many years ago in a serial called Hasratein as mentioned earlier] so the hype...God these reporters need to get a life I feel!
