I am literally hating Kubra. She's doing a great job in the show to the point where I wish she'd go away 🤣

here though she "is" Mehreen - Dig it! - Farooq Rind is also a brilliant director, so he can extract really good work out of his actors.

I always liked MK in general - she is just too classy and elegant offscreen and I am a huge fan of her dressing sense in general. Happy for her!

Kubra has actually surprised me a lot - considering I dint really think much of her at all as an actor - I think she has done a brilliant job as Mashal - note how she quickly changes her expression in the cafe scene with Aswad - from giddy gooeey eyes to confusion to composing herself and back to lying lol - when he tells her about the painting..I agree that this Mashal is grey - I cant put a finger on it - but I dont exactly hate Mashal - even though her actions are repulsive and sick...but I think it was just wrong to pit her against Mehreen..I find Shagufta to be the most problematic.

Usman needs to change his style of dialogue delivery - its been the same slapstick style of delivering dialogues since Anaa days..but I do think he will be great in the second act of the drama..there is a lot of scope ahead for Aswad..lets see how it goes..

I loved Mahira in sadqay tumhare ...it's very difficult to show or act u r in love with Adnan but she miraculously did it...in sheh e zaat I liked all her scenes with Mikaal Mohib and Samina ....she was a loud in the initial epis but that was needed to show the contrast later

U should also watch Mahira zahids latest short film PRINCE CHARMING .....it's one of her bestest work ...it's written and directed by sherry

It's.one of the best shows I have seen in recent times..mahira and kubra both r nailing it. 👏

Usman is the weak link..hopefully he improves..his character is such that he is bound to get all brickbats ..if his acting is not upto the mark , he will get completely overshadowed 👎🏼

So..is mashal interested in Aswad bec mehreen liked him since childhood or its the other way round ? She always liked aswad and she knew khala and aswad like.mehreen more than her so she become spiteful ?

Ohh I can totally forgive her average acting in first 13 episodes of Shehre-zaat, because I absolutely loved the transformation in second phase of the show - it was just soulful, intense and amazing.

I did, it is stunning and so well directed and acted - I love the way they have used Zahid and Mahira's voice in the background and ofcourse addressed a very underrated topic

But I am actually more amazed by Sherry's direction - 😲 He is a very intelligent director!

The only sensible person is Aswad's mother = Salya khala - I hope she never changes❤️ She is the voice of the audience lol. I loved how she confronted Aswad that why does he trust every word Mashal says and why is Mashal even discussing Mehreen with him - very good!😎

Uff Mahirooo kya kittaa yaar acting - I love the diary waley scenes in this episode! and some new fab bg scores are also playing in this episode - that Tere Bin BG during the watch scene was just soothing! Also Mehreen's flustering around Aswad is so cute. I liked what she wrote about Safi - gentle, kind and caring <3 From whatever they have shown us sofar - Safi is a far far better person than Aswad. ^_^

So Mashal does have talents besides gossiping! I wish she focused more on her own talent of singing than destroying things around competing with Mehreen.

Mehreen has my heart in all this and it hurts like crazy to see her spending each minute of her life simmering with sadness and resentment. :(. It takes a strong girl like Mehreen to already not go mad with the kind of life she is getting to live. :(

Everything with Askwad and Mehreen is going wrong as we can see. And now Aswad has kind of confessed to Mashal that he started loving her/ thinking about her in that sense? After that kind of crazy reaction just seeing him with Mehreen,one would run the opposite direction from such a person lekin nai - yaha janaab ko pyar hone lag gaya hai! 😆

So now Mashal is going to destroy Safi’s relationship with Mehreen. I am sure she will be successful in it.The chilling look on her face when she read about Mehreen’s insecurities regarding Safi.🤢 If people are still going to call Mashal a grey character and some kind of a victim of her parents’ upbringing, please!

I haven't seen episode yet and i can't wait but I so agree with your last point. She is plain evil. Killing the bird , sabotaging mehreen inhaler. What if she does from it. Even seriel killers have backstories but should that make us feel sorry for them. An abusive man might have a story to tell but should that make us forgive or feel sorry for them no.

Even on Something Haute Amina says similer feelings and I'm like pardon !!!!
