True, he's using him as a punching bag. He's letting her because he's in love. I hope this doesn't become toxic. Either she needs to come to her senses or he has to draw clear lines.

What I don't understand is how/why did he fall for her? The process wasn't very clear to me.

Yes it was not shown well, I guess he liked her simplicity and obviously it all started with sympathy for her as she was getting poorly treated by his mom. He heard her convo with her dadi and got affected.

I don't mind she refusing to marry him now but atleast appreciate him for being there for her.

Her father let her be, maybe secretly proud that the masters treated his daughter as their own? She never took Dadi seriously because everybody took Maha's side and fed to her ego. I am just wondering if Maha paid more heed to Ammiji because Ammiji was the one who funded her comfortable life? Subconsciously, I mean. Like in society the one who has more power is paid more respect?

She had been pampered and spoiled too much. They provided her with the best of clothes, jewelry, high branded cosmetics. She could move in and out anytime. She would even come and sleep in a boy's room! Rayed had been rightfully angry at her! They had created a make believe world - of glass- which shattered soon enough when interests began to clash.

But now she has realized. Like she says that she had to pay a big price for that comfort...

Yes I too feel because Shiela was giving her all those luxuries, she became highly depended on her. But still she never felt bad that when she was ill, the same woman didn't come to see her. Maharpara was running away from the truth.. her bubble burst in the most tragic way.

Also after Hajra entered the house it was obvious Sheila was favouring Hajra more. Rayed was sticking up for her but Sheila was leaving her side slowly.

Mahapara dad was way too casual, he ignored his own mother's words and was happy seeing his own daughter happy even it was short term. Why was he not able to understand the class difference, especially when he had more experience of the real world?

Yes financial status obvious buys respect in the upper class society, hajra got away for the miscarriage because she is from a rich family.

I agree Mahapara can't trust Salar easily but I always seem to feel that she seems to take her frustration out on him. It's is like he is her punching bag. She never considered his feelings. Even now she is bitter about what happened to her not what her poor dad or grandma went through because of her blind trust. After loosing your dad in such a tragic way, one should be considerate of the loss rather cribbing about why those people are so happy without her.

I don't like Rayed for dragging Sara into his life just because he wants to show Hajra down.. but then if anyone in the family who is emotionally affected by Mahapara exit, that's Rayed.

Yes Rayed loves Sohail. I mean to say that he loves Mahapara so at least he could have thought that there might be something wrong. It's not that he should doubt Sohail but he could have thought that Mahapara might have misunderstood Sohail. He didn't see what happened right. Whatever has happened outside it was because of the intensity of the situation. But after some time when he was calm he should have at least thought about the things happened.

Mahapara is young, immature and living in a dreamland. She has never faced difficulties in life. She was happy. She learned it the hard way.

I don't think she takes her frustration out on Salar. She wants to draw a line around herself and doesn't want anyone to cross the line. She has a goal now and she wants to work towards it. Salar took interest in her but she is not interested. She faced humiliation so she is sad and bitter. She is devastated by her father's death. She grew up in the family so when she saw them she felt emotional.

And I know that Mahapara is not a perfect human being. She has her flaws. She learned from her mistakes. And yes Rayed is affected by Mahapara's exit.

When the scene was happening, and Mahapara was accusing both Rayed and Sohail, he tried his best to take control, but Mahapara was just lashing out. Rayed only reacted harshly when she moved towards Sohail.. yes he should have not slapped her but he chose to believe his elder brother. His reaction was quite natural..I am not saying Rayed is right or Mahapara is wrong but given the situation he was in, his reaction was not a surprise. Mahapara herself didn't trust Rayed, so how can she blame Rayed who didn't trust her?

I watched the episode but I didn't watch the scene. I didn't want to watch the girl getting blamed. But from the flashbacks and dialogues I understood what happened. And recently I watched the slap part.

Mahapara didn't trust ammiji's words she told that Rayed can't say like that. And after ammi ji said like 'then how would I know these things if he didn't tell me'. She was in a state of confusion. But when she received the letter she was angry and may be she felt that whatever ammi ji was saying was right. She is thinking that the letter was from Rayed and he denied it if I am not wrong. So she was thinking that he lied. And when Hajra said that it was the brothers plan she believed it. These events occurred one by one in the same day.

It's a nice discussion with you.

It is interesting to read the views.

Yes but she claimed to love the guy since childhood yet didn't take long to completely mis trust him. She could not tell that it was not Rayed hand writing? Even she never gave Rayed a benefit of doubt, rather jumped to believe he is wrong.

Maharpara has always been desperate for Rayed, she never spared her friend Asma whom she also mis trust. Also she saw changes in her ami ji behaviour for few days and should have understood that she was against her and will create a rift. Sheila confronted her too.

Rayed engagement with Sara further upset her, but she her self got engaged to Salar as well.

I feel bad for Mahapara, but her own actions are also responsible.

Yes our discussions are engaging..enjoying it

Yes, Mahapara should have given benefit of doubt to Rayed.

@Bold: Exactly. If it was written by Sohail then the handwriting will be different. Why couldn't she differentiate the handwriting in the letter and that of Rayed's? If it was written in Rayed's handwriting, it was not possible why would Sohail do that? He is thinking that Mahapara took the necklace and it was like acceptance. So there is no need for him to use Rayed's handwriting.

Mahapara was is love for the first time. And she has been in love from childhood. May be because of the influence of the movies and novels she created a dreamland for herself. I take her actions as immature. She didn't have the age and experience to understand people's behaviour.

May be Mahapara was of the opinion that if she didn't get engaged to Salar then they might ask them to leave the house. It was a choice made out of helplessness.

I want to see Mahapara being successful and confidently facing the family.

Our discussions are nice and interesting.

Mahapara expected way to much from the family and Rayed specially. I feel she always has taken her dadi for granted and never cared to listen to her.

The handwriting angle maybe brought in later but she was too quick to think Rayed was using her and cheating her. She could have atleast waited for her dad to come back before going to the haveli, so late in the night.

Rayed is selfish I agree, but I don't think in such circumstances he could have sided with Mahapara. Sohail misbehaving with Mahapara was completely out of question for him as Sohail has always put up a respectful image.

I know she got engaged to Salar out of pressure but fact is she is engaged with him and shows zero respect to him. Hope that changes soon

Yes the next track with be to show Mahapara successful. Hope she gets her dadi out of that house.

Yes she is true to him, but she come across so cold and heartless. Caring about her own heart break allthe time and not feeling any pity for others isn't fair.

yes, and what was Sara's fault that she was rude to her too ( I haven't seen the episode but saw a scene where she was telling her to stay away from her so I apologise if I'm wrong here)
