Even if the divorce is being filed as Mutual consent. There would be 6 months cool off period, mediation, counselling, then the people have to be present in the court before a judge usually 2 times. All Raghav has to do is pay a small bribe of say 10k to ask the judge or counsellor to adjourn the case. Every adjournment they can get 2 months 🙄. Usually people have to pay up to move the file or speed up process, delaying happens for free 😂

Whats the deal wid signing a divorce papers I dont get . Agar divorce ho bhi gya....go get married again.

What century do they think Pallavi actually lives in ? Do they even check legally how divorce gets done ? Doesnt one actually have to file a divorce and no third person can actually do it. And even if she signs it ....cant she communicate it to Raghav ? Dont they even have that much communication between them ?

Why is being as such a sin that she has no other optn but to feel like she has to burn her hands . Its like telling all those girls who feel that its their beauty dt is at fault when creeps harass them ..that they are right . There are real incidents where girls have harmed their own faces to prevent harassment from creeps. This scene is unknowingly promoting such things. Such things are sensitive and writers dont take it into account how they are affecting and influencing such young minds.

From such progressive relationship standards on itv to such regressive content. Utterly disappointing

Ive been wondering the same thing. I had thought initially that she had put something in the divorce papers like added something because of placing the file in the Mandhir and then Mandhar taking it and Farhad bringing it back without the signature of Raghav and Pallavi saying why didnt he sign, and why is all this getting complicated so I thought she had a plan with that.

So looks like that theory of mine is down the drain. Now to the whole Raghav signing it....he can protest in court saying he was under duress or falsely made to sign. Court does not want marriages breaking so even if those papers get filed, they can both say they dont want a divorce and it was forced upon them and that's the end of it. So even if Mandhar gets the signature, Raghav can get a lawyer to file that the divorce is null and void because they both were forced or compelled to sign. The court would ask both parties and then throw out the case.

Also even if it was valid, there is a time frame before it becomes final. Like 6 months or not sure how long its in India, that they have to stay together etc. She cannot remarry until she is divorced and that would take time.

So the whole burning of hand situation just doesnt make sense. I get that she is upset and not thinking clearly but also when does she find out that she has to sign? I thought the papers were presented to her on the festival, so when does that dialogue occur, if before then she knew about them during festival and if after then something happened that stopped her from signing at the festival. Which is what Im gonna go with, maybe Aai getting well and standing, diverted everyones attention and divorce signing was forgotten.

ITV does not do proper research anyways. Who gets divorced legally by just signing papers (the said papers which have been got made by some 3rd party). For a man of Raghav's stature this is not even a issue, thereby it's not a problem for Pallavi either. The whole thing is so stupid. Pallavi is going to burn hands, Raghav with a gun !!It's as stupid as Sunny thinking about usurping half of Raghav's self made wealth by marrying Keerthi!!

That’s too many logical questions for an ITV show…especially this one…they are already writing the plots assuming that the viewers are dumb since long ago…in the era of smart phones when you can delete call records…pallavi feels threatened to use Amruth’s phone to call Raghav and instead gives indirect msg while asking divorce…irony Mandar deleted Raghav’s call records when she went for a Tea date with him…logics has been compromised so long ago that I don’t even remember when…

Your theory would hv worked only if the cvs had put any thought into dt divorce papers. They havent thought abt it as much. Its just plain divorce papers.

You are right. There are a thousand ways to stop the divorce and its not like Pallavi can be forced to marry Mandar once the divorce papers are signed. She can call off the ruse any time she feels Mandar is getting an upper hand . Now toh even Raghav is wid her.

My problem is not the divorce papers or her signing it. They can sign and think of destroying the papers afterwards . My problem is with her even considering burning her hands as an optn. How is self harm even an optn ??? Why should one even consider burning her hands to get out of any situation ??? Even if its a real divorce .......IT SHOULD NEVER BE AN OPTION.

Why she didnt sign it....for that we hv to await the episodes.

True.This whole plot is written considering people watching ITV have negligible IQ. There is logic at all. What you hv said abt phones is all correct. Even I hv wondered the same a lot of times......dt why cant Pallavi use Amruta's phone. Anywys I stopped expecting logical things per se. But showing off thoughts of Self harm as something courageous and Maahan .....doesnt go well wid me. Sends a very wrong msg to youngsters watching it.
