Yes, I think their first meeting at Diagon Alley is mentioned when Harry and Draco meet on the train again.

I will save this question for later, based on the character development..As children, both Dudley and Draco feel equally entitled, hence spoiled.

It'll be very difficult for me to compare the scenes from books with the movies. As I hate watching the movies to be honest and I really don't remember much what crap they've shown there except remembering few extraordinary blunders they have shown from 3rd movie.

I do actually like the movies (most parts of it), specially certain scenes. While the movies couldn't include everything from the books due to time constraints, it made up for it with some conclusive scenes. Like the books take a long time to establish the fact that Sirius sort of sees James in Harry. This spanned over several books. But the movies made up for it in one scene alone where he called him by James's name.

There are other scenes like this too that I liked from the movies. What I absolutely didn't like was dumbing down the characters, specially Ron's and Harry's and giving all their lines where they show their intelligence to Hermione.😡How I love sassy and manipulative (not in a bad way!) Harry.

And in doing all this, they changed Hermione's character drastically. The movie Hermione never looks ruffled or much affected by things happening around her, but the book Hermione reacted as one would expect a muggle raised child to.

I think both were equally spoilt. As Harry said, reading about one reminds me of the other. The only thing that's different in each of them is that Draco's parents have some expectations from him in terms of academics, sports, personal upkeeping, etc. And while a bully, Draco does his best to keep up with those expectations. We do see in the books as well as in the movies that he's a pretty good student, if not a very good person. Dudley's parents, on the other hand, expect nothing of the sort from their son.

If no one's busy this week, let me know and we can increase a chapter and do upto chapter 11 in the same time. That'd be about 65-70 pages in total.

I wish I could do a read along for some other books too like Hobbit, LOTR, GoT. I never manage to finish them otherwise.😆
