Samrat a worthwhile parallel lead 👍

I know a lot of people are cribbing why are SamrAkhi getting so much footage .. just because we don’t like the actress we cannot dilute the vamp character

In the first 2 weeks . It was established that samrat will have a solid role .. I was surprised that they made him disappear for so long .. and brought the sane actor back after 9 months .. initially he appeared disjointed .. but he has warmed up well ..

Any good soap needs parallel track .. if we are cribbing why Sairat .. is not given priority.. because in this story we don’t want Sai to take importance and ambush it like she did with Devyani pulkit track

that track was totally Sai Sai .. and hardly any part was covered on Devyani and pulkit’s pain

if we compare the no 1 show .. they have 3 pairs or trio with their story arches .. aside from the daughter .. who also has her own issues ..

if it is only about the main couple .. the story gets over fast .. and we get the leap .. and soon the kids are introduced in the track who grow up as main leads

I am glad samrat is getting a chance to tell his own story ..and how he and pakhi deal with the marriage .. because there is lot of angst and resentment there .. it can be a hate marriage .

Yes the vamp is very bad .. but a known devil is better than an unknown one ..

I specially liked samrat telling her .. you stayed back because I had left .. it became easier for you .. you are doing this drama to stay close to virat .. he is more sensible than virat .. thank goodness..

I want samrat to put a check on pakhi ..because only he can .. Sai seems to have given up the battle ..

Samrat was bang on today. Each and everything he said to Patralekha was clear without jumbling the words. Clear and cut, Patralekha understood what he meant and what he wants. Unlike her, who was continuously blabbering those things which we have heard for n numbers 😶😶

I agree that Samrat is a good PL. Yogi has really grown on me. He has a really strong screen presence, and he adds depth to the show. His dialogue delivery still needs work, but he is improving rapidly...and the way he says certain lines is just beyond incredible....poetry to the ears honestly. It is also a breath of fresh air to have a no-BS tolerating, straight-forward character. Samrat sees right through Pakhi's act like no one else can. It is a treat watching him render her speechless.

All of that being said, it is clear that the makers are slowly trying to make Pakhi into the lead.... this has been a trend throughout the entire show, and in many ways that I won't get into, she is already treated as the FL. But, this week has been bad on another level. No one is watching this show for 15+ minutes of SamRakhi and just 2 minutes of SaiRat shoved in at the end. The PLs should not be getting more SS than the leads... that's just a fact yaar. The favoritism is getting out of control.....

I agree with your point about having a parallel story but even in that number one show, during the parallel tracks, the episodes are still FL centered, the leads ss isn't compromised because of parallel tracks... And it's not done while victimising the villain... And you're absolutely right about Yogi, from his entry I did have extremely positive impression that he just needs time to warm up to the role. I'm also liking Sam's no-nonsense attitude, hopefully they keep it like this! It's a breath of fresh air!

I don’t think that’s the case .. even in the no 1 show they show the vamp getting a lot of footage .. and in tamarind stepmom gets a lot of footage ..

They are not whitewashing the character .. nobody i know who watches it finds pakhi to be positive .. this track has pakhi story .. I don’t feel Sai should handle this .. like she did in the Devyani pulkit story ..

Mitali is a fab actress and they diluted her angst by giving all of it to Sai .. and the rest to pulkit .. who was a below average actor .,

Over her why samrat left .. what pakhi meant .. cannot interpreted by Sai .. even though she’s standing next to samrat ..

If the scene requires samrat pakhi it has to be them ..Sai is not the vamp he .. she will leave these two alone

They cannot rush the track .. and have them kiss and make up .. then you all will say pakhi did not get punished ..

Sairat have been discussing their troubles for 1 whole year abd they have achieved nothing .. just what did u expect them to discuss .. why virat is going to take a transfer .. even if he tells Sai .. I am taking a break from you . What should sai do .. say sorry and make up or fight with him more .. if they discuss and sort their issues .. then what is the next track ., ???? Sai and virat ka consummation .. then what .. Sai getting pregnant .. then what kids growing up and Sairat becoming old ..in that case one if the leads will quit the show .. and other become the new lead ..

in tv shows this is the arch .. so if you want to watch Sairat .. you will see some tracks where they take a break .. and be a little behind .. even though still there .. other characters take prominence ..Devyani pulkit story is over .. and they are out of the show .. so will samrat n pakhi be .. once their issues are sorted

Unfortunately to add troubles in Sairat .. pakhi was required .. that’s why she stuck there ..If pakhi is not there .. they will make ashwini negative and it will become a saas bahu show .., otherwise another actor or actress will be added to make the story interesting .. thus is the usual case in all tv shows .

Why samrat left has been kept simmering for a year .. I am happy they are giving it due worth .. unlike harini and Devyani ka Milan ..
we need strong characters.. then only the lead actors will look fresh .. if you compare GC track Sairat we’re looking fresh because samrat was handling the Nagpur track .. with the family

I explained in my above post .. I don’t want Sai interfering and advising samrat how to handle his marriage with pakhi .. it will be a case of conflict of interest .. and also she won’t be any better than pakhi .. who’s always cosying up to virat .. let them sort it out .. abd let Sairat figure out their marriage

Having parallel leads is great since it gives some more scope .

I can't agree with you on everything..

Pakhi is the venomous woman in viewers eyes but till NOW she wasn't called out for her misdeed...

Other shows vamps do get extra footage but they ARE NOT victimised like in GHUM..

The story is about SaiRat.. I agree they need a catalyst for them which is Pakhi.. But this has been going on and on for the last one year.. Having samrat in the picture her SS may required for the story to move... But aren't they overdoing it??

Important scenes are getting cut short be it SaiRat or anything else..

There are thousands of ways to have parallel tracks..they can shift focus on SaiRat career as both are front liners..

By the way Sai should be last person to solve SamRakhi issues that too without Virat's permission..

Here people are cribbing on not only overdose of Pakhi scenes but also on shoddy directions

She is not interfering how to handle things she just cleared virat and her side for pakhi side you have discusse with her she told smarat that.

When Mansi saying she was just seeing from mansi's point of view. But not interfered in conversation regarding Pakhi. She just want they should talk without taking don't take one sided decision that's it .
