There are a lot of humans like Dev who suffer in their relationships because of early childhood trauma .

Everyone has some sort of baggage-trauma. But that it is his issue. Not Sona or kids fault 🙁 Eventually we all make peace, get help if we need & move on

I am watching this drama the one and only ITV show for Dev 😁😁

This is the only Indian serial I’m watching as I watched previous 2 seasons. Nothing since PR & BAHL FOR YEARS.

It is written as a very complicated character 😅.

CHARACTER isn’t complicated. Lacking Maturity regarding marriage & being husband-father has complicated his life due to interfering manipulative mother. He himself is manipulative husband 👎🙄. He needs to detach from momma, get counseling & communicate with wife. No maa or Bijoy

Bold 2: She offered to go to farmhouse. I appreciate that.

But of she really meant giving them space, she would have simply gone. Instead, she made a big speech about how Dev should not think about how she might feel..he should just tell her if it was her fault and she will go away for a little while.

Now Sona complains to her baba, bro , SiL & Jatin about Dev

Dev doesn’t tell any thing about relationship issues to any one

Both are also not happy

This is what I think

I am not defending Dev or judging the character calling him all kind of names , I understand his character

Being brought up in a healthy family Sona also not happy with weird Ishwaorry mansion .

As I always say Dev is a complexed character because of the way he brought up .

See when people catch wild elephants for training for humans they tie a chain on young elephant’s legs.

When young elephant calf try to break it free but fails that chain always in it’s brain , even after being an adult elephant that remains there.Elephants trained this way never breaks the chain which it can easily once adult

Same way Dev is also tied to his Maa it is almost impossible to tell her that when she is wrong .

Remember all those initial episodes of showing Maa & Beta bond .

If there is no happiness in the relationship , try to work it out if not end it .

Mamiji improved a lot , she knows her boundaries

If Ishwarry just leave without saying it will create more problems so leave after telling is better but than Ishuwarry , now problems lies with Dev & Sona themselves .

Is eshwari is at fault all the time for dev's behaviour? Is it not person's personality development from school, collages n from work place? How fare it is to blame esh for dev's behaviour? Here esh never taught ignore wife n children. It was him ignorant towards his family. It is his perspective not to give importance to sona.

Let us keep aside what esh does n how she manipulates. I feel dev is sole responsible for his miseries..

Agreed.Right now the only solution for their problem is Ishwary, once they get their own space they would be happy and will take any decision as one. If you watch episodes between their love confession and breakup, Dev was so happy/kiddish and what not. He was living his life which his mom didn’t like. 😏 I too feel bad for Dev sometimes but more for Shona. 😅😅

He is an adult and responsible for 3 kids but still doesn't seem to have the maturity to chose between right or wrong. He is not fit to be single handedly responsible for the kids. And add to it the combination of Ishwari in it. Ho gaya kalyan bachcho ka!

But Ishwari should be blamed partly for his behaviour. She keeps feeding nonsense against Sonakshi to him...woh samajhti nahi tumhe, kaisi maa hai, apna nahi samjha kabhi,etc. This might add to his distant behaviour with Sonakshi.

Getting manipulated is again dev's personality. If he had shown displeasure when esh speaks against sona, esh would hv avoided to talk like that. It is him not discouraging such stuff.

True. He keeps listening to her mutely.

At least whenever her father starts his rant against Dev.. Sonakshi asks him to stop. Tells him that she trusts him except for the recent name fiasco. But there he was sensible enough to not interfere in a couple's fight.

Ishwari has a free reign over their marriage.
