Also, why did Anjali ruin her career opportunities by quitting university altogether because her crush didn't like her. The hell.

If she could trust her mother-in-law to give the letters to her daughter, who is just born, then she could have directly told her mother- in-law to unite Rahul and Anjali right? Like that, there would have been even less chance of Anjali marrying someone else na! Why did Tina give that responsibility to her daughter who is just born, she didn't know how would her behaviour shape up while growing up..

And the 8 letters thing! A girl who is just 8 years old, how will she understand all the unite-unite things, she would barely be able to read the letter..This movie and the Bodyguard movie! In that movie too, the boy read whole diary, understood his mom's bestfriend's emotions and decided to unite them!?

And how did Tina think Anjali would still be in love with Rahul, she hadn't even met her after that day na..And Rahul? Did he really love Tina? I mean, while dying, in that condition, Tina wrote that Rahul and Anjali were meant to be and she came in between? I would have understood if she thought that before in college but while dying after all the living together and having a baby, she thought that they weren't meant to be?

There is actually nothing weird for someone writing letters to their kids from the moment they are toddlers.

It's a way for the deceased person to project themselves in their child life.

Letters are to be kept and not thrown away in this situation. While someone will read the letters to the baby and it will become a kind of ritual, the child will be able to go back and read these letters when they grow up.

Tina knew exactly what she did that's why she knew the chances for Anjali still being single were high.

She transferred to her home town college na? And that too, because her father was ill I think! Maybe he was gone after that ...

In alternate universe:

Tina was alive and Rahul-Tina were not happy together and they had divorced (not because of affair though).

And by chance little Anjali was in the summercamp of elder Anjali, and bychance Rahul came to the camp (not planned like in the movie). And then, after meeting Anjali, Rahul realised he still loved Anjali and that was the reason he was never happy with Tina.

Anjali and Rahul started their dating in that summercamp itself but little Anjali hated seeing them together and became so jealous and complained to Tina!

Tina then told the college stories of Rahul and Anjali, how they both were bestfriends in college and yadayada..

Rahul, who was about to sacrifice his love for his daughter, but little Anjali planned and reunited them...

I know cliche story lol ..
