I talked from makers POV that instead of researching for a more complicated surname for Sikkim they simply chose a surname of a movie actor from Sikkim. In the next line I said they could have chosen a surname which no one heard of. See the name they chose is also a familiar name which is common in all states instead of names used mainly in Northeast states or just Sikkim. Why? Because they are bringing a show on Northeast bas naam ke liye without working on its names. Even ZDMN used a unique name Monami (Monami is Bengali surname) though it's not known whether she will be from Northeast or not. Haan video dekh hi rahi hu. They should change FL's anke and surname before the dhow starts. Kisi Northeast actress ya athlete ka hi naam rakh le. Par unhe to sirf aggressive saas aur chawl drama hi dikhaana hai🥱.

I am not getting the issue over Denzongpa surname.

If we go by above Article which seems more authentic then Denzogpa is a Tibetan Tribe found in Sikkim region and the word Bhutia doesn't literally mean what we here call.

So to make issue of such a small topic and ignoring the larger social cause for which the show is created, i feel its not good.
