Him just believing her words makes his trust on Pallavi look shallow. Its like he still doesn't able to trust her completely 🤔

I actually think he was just taken aback. He did keep saying things like they're forcing you to do this, somethings wrong, etc. He didn't believe it at first and I don't think he even really left D house fully believing it, but also didn't know what else to think at that point. He was just so livid (at not being able to bring her home) and confused. And his confusion is why he couldn't think straight.

IMO, it's not about him not trusting her. It's about him being insecure about how he married her. And that's his own lack of confidence coming out - not his lack of trust. In reality, they have not been married for that long (2? 3 months?) and they've been (really Pallavi) has been in love with him for even less time.
