I'l just assume it to be a creative liberty writers took to explain all the clues hidden in Pallavi's conversation with Raghav..

But I liked how he admitted that his temper is his weakness so he needs to stay away from Mandhat at the moment to stop himself from pouncing on him and jeapardizing Pallavi's plan.. I liked that he didn't feel the need to do things his way to tackle the situation. He trusted her plan and capabilities.
