I lived in Shivsagar in the 90s as a kid. It just wasn’t in Assam that I experienced it.. the reason that guy gave me was that one woman on train asked him “ if there are schools in Assam or not” I was only 8 then but I still remember it. Almost reminds me of SRK Lady Gaga interview.. the cultural difference turned it into a cringfest. SRK looked so disinterested in the interview, he was trying to ease up the conversation being his warm self.. and lady gaga was so direct.. she kept on turning the subject to spirituality (while srk tried to look as if she’s making sense) it made her look standoffish and rude..😆

I have lived in many states in India and also lived in the gulf. I have never experienced anything like this anywhere.. in Maharashtra too, people are pro Marathi but I was never bullied because of not knowing the language (I picked up Marathi after I moved out of there 😆)

My grandfather has also served as chief secretary of north east region many many years ago..

The map part was bad.. and an insult on India as a whole.

If it was so many years ago, I really don't know the situation back then, but not welcoming part does not happen here now. At least not where I lived and studied.

There is a YouTube account that posts the episode live... over 20k ppl were watching. I require subs so I wait until Sony posts.. but i was amazed that such a popular show has low tv ratings.. the makers, channel and this poor ratings system is to blame for this mess.😭

Oh, That’s so sweet of you . Truly they have spoilt the mood of the whole show with one episode . Hats off to their creativity for doing this to us . Ahaan not trusting Ishqi I somehow swallowed but Karthik doubting Ishqi was the lowest point in today’s episode . Why they have chacha chachi if they are always on mute ? And I felt nobody is bothered about Ishqis disappearance . Ahaan working in office , savvy coming to office etc etc was so so low points of the episode .
