Not surprised by the results, I was sure this would happen.

Given that the Idol format is supposed to award the "best new young pop singer" (this is the definition, cite Wikipedia), I wanted the contestant who's focus is singing, to win.

No prize money for other 5?

Congratulations to Pawandeep and the other runners up.

Hopefully from next season they make a rule to not take in winners of other reality shows on national TV. Frankly to me, Pawandeep competing became unfair since the time I got to know he has already been winner of Voice India just a few years back.

Hoping to see Arunita do playback now.

Thanks to all those who voted for Arunita..Sayli was 3rd..high chances she would have been second if Arunita fans hadn't voted whole heartedly

Ya Danish looked upset.. I always got the feeling that he is not a good sport..Nihal and SMP handled so much better. Danish’s family also should have clapped..I know it’s not easy when you are upset, but be a good sport and acknowledge the hard work put in by the contestants.

After season 5 it's first time that a girl is 1st Runner up in Adult Indian Idol.

The fact that so many people came to know about Pawan winning The Voice only after seeing him on Idol..some were unaware about it even till today..

This shows what Indian Idol means to all aspiring performers.
