You know, one thing I always wonder with this "revenge marriage" trope is why it can't ever be the woman who marries the guy on false pretences, because she wants badla on him/his family? 🤔 it's always the guy taking advantage of the poor innocent, bholi-bhali FL kabhi toh kuch ulta dikhao*...

actually there was that one show Shrenu did in which she pretended to be an adarsh bahu but was really out to destroy the family...which was kinda fresh and fun, ngl. Of course, TRP aunties can't stand women not being the sacrificial lambs, so after a time even that concept was thrown out the window I guess I answered my own question there 🤣
