You are right actually. It is dark-ish.
And honestly, the charm of the promo of season 1 was missing. Season 1 promo had the mystery around it, the chemistry was next level. I wanted the show to start ASAP.

Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar have set the bar so high, Nakul Disha will have to work so hard to get anywhere near that. Even the supporting cast was so good. Here I’m hearing names like Utkarsh Gupta 🤪

Nakul was trolling Ekta shows when he has done Ishqbaaz playing Shivaay the worst of all Gul heroes 😲😆

Watched it- perhaps helped that I followed PKDH a bit back in the day, and so Nakuul and Disha are somewhat familiar faces.😊

I like them and wish them the best, but think Ekta is doing the duo a bit of a disservice if she's keeping the serial name, the character names and the story the same. Comparisons to ST and RK will inevitably follow, and try as hard as NM and DP might, they are big boots to fill. 😃

The promo indicates that the character names are the same but also suggests that Nakuul is 38, rather than the early 40's one that the original Ram was playing, Hopefully they change things around a bit- I would struggle to watch a soap if I know the future storyline.

Agree that the promo looked darkish- maybe the theme is darker/more mature?

I think it was Sony who were looking to cash in on the Disha hype and probably pushed for an early start after watching KRPKAB 3 disappoint in TRP's (and this was probably a contributing factor to IPZN's exit- they wanted to give BALH 2 every chance at success, and coming right after KBC was perhaps the most ideal time. If it was delayed, it would have to contend with the IPL in September and possibly even the T20 World Cup in Oct/November)

You are right, it had very dark and sad-sad vibe. Nakul's look and colors they used added to it.

We discussed this previously that Sony cancelled IPZN because they found FL for BALH2 and wantedto launch it earlier as they don't have any fiction show with good TRP. EK wants to use Disha's recent popularity to get that initial good opening.

I haven't seen Disha before but I am not a fan of Nakul's acting. His dialogue delivery is weird and he takes so many pauses. He delivers dialgoues as if he is reciting some poem or shayari😕. I too thought I wil not see Nakul on TV anymore. He was doing those TooMuchDemocracy type shows so I thought he moved on from TV. I was expecting some webshow from him but I guess noone can deny EK. Parth Samthan also did kasauti where it was clear he never wanted to😆

Sab Ishqaan scenes hi hain😆

Her drunk scene has become my all time favourite drunk and romantice scene on ITV. It was surreal.

I think emotional is where Ahaan takes her hand and goes to confront Dadi. Cuddling must be where she asks him to cry and the end me Kambal me dangal😆
