How can Anokhi trust any man after she has seen her father’s atrocities? Not only her father but her brother and jiju are equally disgusting. Now added to the list is Monty.

Once again I must say Bhalla senior is a shame to fatherhood. His lowly thinking that a girl should be grateful that she is being accepted by an NRI family to be their daughter in law gives jitters. It did not bother him at all that Monty wasn’t actually what he presents him to be. He didn’t even give a thought when she has proof against Minty? Does he think the only aim of a girl is to get married and accept happily what comes through? Is it a wife’s duty to set right a husband and deal with him however he is?

My heart goes out to Rama when she realises that she can’t pamper and shower her child with love once she is married. To see that her request to let her meet her daughter once is received with flak that she might conspire in Anokhis escaping shaadi from a mother( biji) is saddening. Is it that biji doesn’t understand the pain of a daughter’s bidaai?

What a heart touching moment it was when Ss meets his nanaji? We can feel the craving of a child needing to be loved and a sense of emotional attachment for a millisecond before Ss quickly gets back to his original self. His bitterness towards his mother doesn’t allow him to express the feelings towards his nanaji. His heart actually is so overflowing with love that he needs that special someone who can unconditionally love him to bring it all out. May be that’s the reason why he was not ready to let go of Anokhi and was ready to go to any extent for her.

Whenever Astha Shaurya meet Astha has tears but Her tears don’t move him at all and he does everything just to assure that BM is happy. He never expressed/ questioned his dad as to what exactly happened even after Astha said that it might be her situation that compelled her to sacrifice her 4 year son. Being an adult according to me puts in enough sense to think about situations and dilemmas. I still wonder did BM’s filth fill up his mind completely that there is no space left for his own thinking at all when it comes to Astha?

The train symbolises a solution to Anokhis problems. From the very beginning whenever Anokhi is shown to be in a dilemma or problem the train seems to ease her out and a spark is seen in her face.

Scenes I really wished to see…

Ss with nana and nani

After seeing nana saying to Anokhi that every girl is a princess to their father scene I really feel there should’ve been one where they would pamper Anokhi after marriage and Ss feels jealous

Salty that they didn’t explore shastha backstory and Ss knowing the proper truth about why Astha left and role of BM Bp

How could they redeem senior Bhalla

Why was Raja given a free pass

Hope we get. Season 2 and they properly explore all stories

Shaurya meeting his grandfather and calling him nanaji was a very touching scene .He couldn't even tell his nanaji who he was. Yes even I wanted some scenes between Shaurya and his grandparents later. Sadly we didn't get any.

Shaurya knows that his BM and BP love him for selfish reasons and his parents have always ignored him. Both Anokhi and Shaurya had a difficult childhood for different reasons.

My girl is rattled. Honestly how can she not be rattled. She was about to become a "glorified naukarani". But loved that she did not just burst in tears and curse her 'kismet'. She was in panic mode and shock and went to the only person she could trust in the moment. Her ma'am. Now when you look at it, here is. 19 yo who can't trust her family, is about to be sent to another country against her wish and is saved by Aastha only. No wonder she always fought shaurya for her and put her on a pedestal. While I am not saying it was completely right but she was literally given another life by Astha.

Ramesh Bhalla shoud not have been whitewashed. It was a crime. It was a sin. It was wrong on the makers part. I know they gave some justification, and I was like... okaaaaaaayyy not good enough but okay. Now...no ..NOT OKAY. His daughter came to him with one last hope and proof that she was being married off wrong but he did not care. Men don't change and nor was it Anokhi's job to change him. He locked her up because he knew she could run as she was unafraid. It's disgusting to see how Rami and Vineet treat their wives. How they are just objects. Again her parents have abandoned her to her fate, one is forced and other in helplessness.

It was sad that a mother could not meet her own daughter in her own house. Raja and Anokhi, she hurt his ego bad. Same issue as his father.

Shaurya and his Nanaji. Again a nuanced moment. He almost lost his cool there. Almost. It was a well.acted scene.

Shaurya is being petty. He is acting out. He sees him mother after 25 years and now wants her to hurt the same way he did. I also feel he is seeking out her attention on purpose by hurting her. He loves her. It's quite evident. Infact too evident from his flashbacks. But parental abandonment is the worst kind of hurt.

After this episode, I wish we had little more of Aastha and ANokhi. She didn't go to her mom, sister or family... Instead she went to Aastha.

She knew her professor was the only one who would understand, give her the right advice and protect her.

How different are the perspectives of two fathers?

Mr. Kashyap said "Betiyan to rajkumari hoti hai" He heard Anokhi and supported his daughter in her advice. Mr. Bhalla wouldn't even hear his daughter, called her a liar for talking bad about Monty, and disregarded Monty's faults by saying that "All men drink" "Men change after marriage". We can see clearly why Anokhi loves Aastha. She gives Anokhi the support, love, strength, and advice that Anokhi needs.

Shaurya's "Nanaji" is so haunting. "Jaane pehchane se lagre hai. Tu ho kaun? Naam kya hai tumhara?" To hear that his grandparents don't even recognize him just further reiterates that he is forgotten by his mother. Would Aastha have recognized him if not for Shaan's picture and hearing him named as guest speaker? Did Aastha read the magazines to keep up with her son's accomplishments? Guess we won't really know. Such a missed opportunity that Shaurya didn't get to meet his grandparents again.....in Season 2 perhaps??

Side notes:

~ Anokhi's mehndi is so light. What would future Shaurya have to say about the depth of color of that mehndi and its meaning??😆

~ Dua sequence 1 is all about Anokhi's dard and hopelessness!🥺

~Shaurya used "aap" to address Aastha because he needed something, but he'll transition to 'tu' just to distance himself. I'm glad that Aastha at least apologized. Wished we would have seen what her majboori was.

Precap: Babli hears Monty's truth.

Aastha is that pillar of support that every Anokhi needs. I would say, Aastha has been more of a parent to Anokhi than her own parents. I wont say much about Rama, she is a little majnoor but anyways... She does not even encourage Anokhi to break the cycle so far..

Dude... Like that naak pe sindoor thing, he would have definitely commented about mehndi ka rang and pati ka pyaar for Anokhi 🤣

I never concentrated on the early episodes and used to get annoyed when Anokhi blindly defended Aastha. But really analyzing how bad it was for Anokhi and how much Aastha's support meant to hear life, really makes me appreciate her loyalty to Aastha. She doesn't negate Shaurya's feelings but thinks it's a misunderstanding because for her Aastha is this beacon of light that really illuminated her world. Anokhi's not fully justified but I can see myself defending someone who was a godsend in my life but may have wronged another.

As for Rama, she's really a victim of her circumstances and she doesn't know or see any options in life for herself or her daughters. It's why her helping Anokhi escape is such an act of heroism for her.

Shaurya was all about rituals and knew the meanings. Who knew our professor was so sanskaari!

Aastha is aastha because of her parents and it's quite evident. She must have had the right support and encouragement. And hence she openly shares the same.

Aastha was herself stalking her son throughout without the sabarwals knowing so I am assuming she would have recognised him

Even I noticed the mehedi...it was quite funny! 😆 Honestly I would have loved to see Shaurya and Monty come face to face just for the kicks! 🤪

I keep thinking this and then imagining how heartbreaking and scary it must feel. To have a home and a family and still feel unsafe. These issues were always expressed between the lines like women feeling unsecure in their own surroundings.

Shaurya meets his nanaji....a fleeting moment of tenderness can be seen on his face.Seeing his grandfather after so many years....Nanaji word comes out organically. He refuses to go in and closes the door symbolizing he let down his gaurds for a while and closed them again.

He had that small moment of recognition and didn’t want to indulge. And the way he said “Nanaji” was like a 4 year old and not a 29 year old. 💔 My heart broke for that little boy.

Aastha pleasently surprised and happy to see Shaurya standing in front of her door.He brings those documents which carry no legal significance but Shaurya wants to punish her by naking her sign this. How he respects his Badimaa's insecurities and tries to address them in his own way.Shaan sabherwaal......you are to be blamed mostly for this and Aastha too.Pain endured by Shaurya's innocent heart all these years yearning and craving for lovewas poisoned by TejVi for their benefit. My heart goes out to the vulnerable child in him.

Righttttt. Shaan is the root of all these issues. His lack of a spine. He didn’t leave with his wife and he didn’t really stand with his son. Seriously the poor young Shaurya was just left vulnerable to be poisoned by Tejvi. Shaan never apologized for his hand in this. Aastha apologized for leaving but Shaan never acknowledged how he failed.

This track was much awaited from this episode and never addressed at all.How i wish Aastha drags him inside and he is properly introduced to their grandparents.Nana Nani showering love on him would have been a treat to watch after knowing truth about Badimaa.Season 2 come back.

We deserved more than two episodes of this track. They set it up so early in the show and it had slow growth but it all went out with Goa and fast tracked in Hyderabad. Maybe season 2 can address this.

Busy in Shravan puja and house is full of guests.I wrote episode reviews of past three episodes but are saved in drafts.
