Chapter 2

Riddhima looked at him her heart breaking seeing the vulnerable and lost side of him, she really didn't deserve him or his love, when she always tries to question his motive. He on the other hand trusts her so much.

V- Riddhima? Can you do me a favour?

R- Han bolo.

V- Please don't leave me alone tonight. I know ki you don't like me or trust me. But bas aaj ke liye i want you close to me. He hugged her tightly.

R- Sure, but tum room chalo rest karne ke liye. Come on. They went back to their room hand in hand. Riddhima made sure that he is comfy on the bed and was going towards the bathroom when he stopped her.

V- Kahan ja rahi ho?

R- I will be back Vansh. Just going to change my clothes.

V- Okay.

She came back changing into her nightwear, she smiled seeing Vansh getting sleepy but still trying not to sleep, unknowingly she ran her fingers through his hair,

R- Vansh, why did you wait? So jate tum.

V- I told you na ki i need you tonight. Pata hain aaj tak i was always there for family, har tantrum, har wish, anniversary, birthday party sab ke i helped them. But the funny thing is they don't even remember my own birthday.

V- Mein yeh sab recognition ke liye nahi kar rahe but kabhi ek baar koi bole i will handle things for once. Do you know why i was attracted to you, because tumne mujhe se baat ki like a normal human being.

V- Tumhari daant, care, humare jhagade and jassosi karke mujhe irritate karne sab ki aadat ho gayi hain ab, and i don't think ki i can live without you.

Riddhima looked at him with awe, they both leaned towards each other to kiss, it was short kiss since Riddhima backed out suddenly, Vansh misunderstanding that he probably crossed a line,

V- I am sorry.

R- No, Vansh. I stopped because i am really not worthy of your love. I have always hurt you deeply, whether it is knowingly or unknowingly.

V- Riddhima..

R- No, let me speak, you were right all along, i came here on mission to get evidence against you and put you in jail. But the funny thing is the more i spend time with you, the more confused i became. And the ultimate truth is that it was me who kidnapped Ragini and gave her to Kabir.

V- Inspector Kabir is your helper?😡😡

R- Not just helper. She told him everything how she loved Kabir and wanted to marry him, his shart, the reason of returning to marriage everything.

Riddhima didn't know from where she got the courage, she sat on his lap with her legs on either side of him and kissed him passionately, after a brief moment of hesitation, he pulled her closer, dug his hands in her hair and kissed her back.

V- I am sorry too. I should have told you about Ragini, maybe all of this would have been avoided. But i was so scared that whoever hurt her will hurt you as well.

V- But don't worry, as you said na. We will find out Ragini's whereabouts together.

R- Come on sleep Vansh. He laid on her chest like a small baby. She made sure to be as close to him as possible. For the first time in his life, after his mother's death, he slept peacefully.

The vibration of the phone disturbed his sleep, he looked at Riddhima who had scrunched up her face, probably being disturbed by the sound, he took the phone gave her sweet kiss on the cheek and went to attend the call.

M- Sir, sorry to disturb you so late at night. But she is with me alive and conscious.

V- Good, i am sending you an address. Make sure to transfer her there. I will tell you guys when is the right time to come out of hiding.

M- Sure, Sir.

Riddhima woke up next morning happy, even though she felt guilty, but it felt like a huge burden have been taken of her chest since Vansh knows the truth. She looked at the watch it was 10 clock,

R- What..how did i sleep so late...i have to go downstairs.

She went downstairs after taking a shower and changing, everyone looked at her with jealous looks, she rolled her eyes now what she did? She looked at the table and everything laid out was her favorite,

R- Yeh sab kisne?

V- Hello mam, myself Chef Bansh(i love this name too much🤪🤪). Aapke husband ne orders diya hain. Aapke liye yeh sab banane ke liye.

R(taking off his chef hat)- Vansh tum and baaki sab bhi mere saath breakfast karne aao. Please.

Everyone enjoyed the food, but felt disgusted at the PDA Vansh and Riddhima were showing, it was like someone had replaced the real Vansh with a filmy version of him. The next week was hectic, Vansh and Angre scoured through the CCTV footage, and found Kabir lurking around the mansion way too much.

Vansh also found out that it was Anupriya who had been helping him and he was even more shocked to find out that she was his mother. But the time has come, this mother- son duo has to pay.

Everyone were in the living, finally they had something to celebrate. With Riddhima's guidance and help Siya was able to walk again, but everyone's mood changed when they saw the Commissioner in the house. Vansh felt Riddhima tightening her hold on him,

V(Whispers)- Sweetheart, kuch nahi hoga mujhe. Itna jaldi mujh se chutkara nahi milne wala.😉😉 Riddhima just rolled her eyes.

C- Mr.Raisinghania aapne mujhe yahan kyun bulya hain?

V- Just wait a few minutes, Sir Inspector Kabir aate hi hogaye.

Kabir also came, he was a bit shocked to the Commissioner in the mansion, he looked towards Anupriya, who was looking pale white.

V- Han, toh Commissioner i have called you here, kyunki i finally know ki meri mom Mrs. Uma Raisinghania ko kisne mara tha.

Ev- WHAT?

C- And who is it Mr. Raisinghania?

V- My Step mother Anupriya Raisinghania.

K- What? And tumhare kya saboot hain.

Ra- Saboot mein hun.

Everyone was shocked to see Ragini along with Mishra, he had given all the footage to the police, he had kept cameras in the so called police station of Kabir, and every plan Kabir and Anupriya ever made was recorded in it.

V- Inn dono ko lekar jaye yahan se, iss se phele i kill someone.

Anupriya was furious all her plans was wasted because of this Riddhima, she looked at the knife that was on the fruit basket, she took it and cornered Riddhima, yanking her hair back and kept the knife at her neck,

A- Stay back everyone, agar kisi ne bhi aagaye aane ki himmat ki toh i will kill her.

V- ANUPRIYA, let her go..😡😡

R- Vansh..🥺🥺

She dragged her outside, everyone was hesitant to do something lest she attacked Riddhima, Kabir went forward and took his mother and Riddhima into his car,

R- Vansh...

V- RIDDHIMA...

Chapter 3

It has been two weeks since Riddhima was in coma, Vansh cursed himself everyday if only he had been more fast to save her, or had driven faster while taking her to hospital, he still has nightmares seeing Riddhima lying bleeding,

Flashback

Anupriya and Riddhima sat in the back, and Kabir drove off. For a second Vansh stood frozen, but then ran to his car and drove off behind them. Riddhima was struggling and Anupriya was getting furious,

A- Aye ladki, don't try to act too smart nahi yeh knife tumhare dil. She gave a demo by slicing her arm a bit.

R- Ahhhhh. Let me go... Riddhima forced herself to calm down, she didn't know if Vansh will be able to save her but she was done being someone's playtoy.

She calmed down making Anupriya loosen her grip, then she bit her hand and swiftly took the knife and stabbed her leg and took her head and banged on the car window. Kabir tried to intervene but Riddhima pulled dupatta and put it around his neck and started choking him,

K- R..Riddhima.

R- Stop the car nahi toh both of us will die today. Before he could stop the a truck came and hit them from behind, the car flipped a couple of times. Vansh was just close enough to see the accident, he stopped his car and went towards them,

V- Riddhima..oh my god Riddhima...

A- Boss, hume Bhabhi ko nikalna hoga jaldi.

They pulled her out just in time for the car to blast into pieces killing Anupriya and Kabir. Riddhima was hospitalized, her brain was swollen badly due to the accident and she was kept in a coma for the time being.

Present

Vansh would go to office and spend the rest of the day with Riddhima, he would babble about things like how Sia is enjoying that she is finally able to walk. Ishani and Aryan too were sorry about everything they had done to her, everyone missed Riddhima,

V- Please come back soon Riddhima. I miss you and more than that i miss my bed.

R- Yo..you can go sleep on the bed Vansh.

V- Riddhima, you are awake.

R- Sone kahan diya Vansh, kitna bolte ho tum. And har bar ki tarah beech mein dhamakte rehte ho.😋😋

V- Shut up. I think doctor ko bula ke injection lagwana padega.

R- NO..wait, i was just kidding na.

They hugged each other, the doctor came and did the overall check up and she was discharged, and told to walk and roam around a bit so that the stiffness in her body goes away.

V- Trust me doctor, she will be running around the house, from tomorrow 😏😏

R- 😡😡

They reached home, and the family members welcomed Riddhima properly, everyone asked for forgiveness as well, seeing as Anupriya and Kabir were the main culprit all this time. Slowly everyone was actually starting to enjoy being with Riddhima and since Vansh's birthday was coming they were going to organize a surprise birthday party,

I- But theme kya rakhe?

R- How about Family? Matlab aap log dil se Vansh ke liye koi gift, video message or anything else. What say?

Ev-Han that is good.

Riddhima smiled she had her own surprise for him. On the day of Vansh's birthday he was actually excited for the first time. Maybe Riddhima remembered his birthday but no one wished him he went away grumbling and everyone laughed at his pouty face.

He was in the meeting which was running for too long, he was completely hangry now, when Riddhima called him,

V- Hello..

R- (scared)- Vansh, please help me. I don't know where i am..

V- Riddhima, kya hua..

R- Ahhhhh...

Vansh was completely scared, he drove back to the mansion he was really scared seeing the darkness inside the mansion. Where is everyone?

V- Riddhima? Guys? Where is everyone?

E- SURPRISE.. HAPPY BIRTHDAY 🎂🥳

V- What the hell, pagal ho gaye ho kya? I was so scared.

R- (making cute face)- Sorry na Vansh. We wanted to give you a surprise.

Everyone gave him something, Chachi and Dadi made his favorite dishes and the cake. Ishani and Sia made a scrapbook for him and Aryan actually apologized from the bottom of his heart and asked for his guidance in helping becoming a better businessman.

Everyone was enjoying the cake and the food, Vansh came and sat near Riddhima on the sofa,

V- So, Sweetheart where is your gift.?

R- Well arranged all this for you.

V- Oh.

R- Don't worry i have something special for, let's go back to our room.

V- Interesting, Very interesting.

Riddhima just rolled her eyes, they went back to their room and there was beautifully decorated frame in the corner of the room,

R- Check it out.

It was Uma's picture, even more beautiful than what he had made, he started crying all of a sudden,

R- Kya hua? Is it not good. Vansh hugged her tightly.

V- It is so much better than i made it for the first time. Thank you.

R- Thank you mat bolo. It was my mistake that led to the painting getting destroyed.

They smiled and hugged each other, some where Vansh was happy that Kabir had sent Riddhima as spy, if they had met as normal people he would have lost this gem of a person. And for the second time in his life he felt happy and peaceful.
