Politics is the reason why I don't visit twitter. I don't even live in India but the left wing and right wing discussions still find its way into my life through TV etc...can't imagine how bad it is on twitter. Rightfully said, our life is already challenging, why invite other problems.

If you don't want the politics discussions then you can mute their conversation or not follow those who discuss politics.

Yeah true, but I wish to stay away completely. I can manage on SM platform, which at present is only Instagram. So easy to use and visually appealing 😆

For this reason, I've stopped watching news on tv. Self proclaimed experts on panels giving biased opinions. There's no middle ground and no unbiased news reporting. Redundant exercise, honestly. That's why I don't have any cable or dish TV. Only streaming apps, enews and print media.
