For once we had an interviewer who wasn't interrupting the actor repeatedly.

On the whole though, most of what he said didn't surprise me, especially the part where he said he really feels the emotions and doesn't need glycerin 80% of the time. Even without knowing this, I have been able to tell when he's really crying in a scene. He's that good!

Actually I watched 10 min clip. So missed the irrelevant part 😂😂

It was insight of how he prepares. No wonder we go ga ga over his emotional scene. Method actor over a character actor any time.

He focuses on his craft and tries to improve himself all the time. Results are visible on screen. Compare his first drunken scene with the recent one. Huge improvement!

I remember a theatre actor once saying in an interview

‘We humans have all the emotions inside us, however it is an actor who can tap and trigger the emotion when required, and every time an actor does that, something is taken away from him/her’

I think this is what puts one in the league of a good actor and another a great actor

Even though he doesn't explicitly label himself as a method actor, I think he's pretty close to being one.

I can't wait to see what he does next. I'm sure he'll kill it.

But mangalsutra yes I could make out

In Tamil it's appa in telugu nanna..

In south Indian marriages more importance is given to mangalsutra than sindhoor. Before wearing a gold mangalsutra a arishina daara( turmeric twain) will be tied. There will be different ceremony for changing it into gold one.

Must say Shivangi is super patient and even explained how mechanical and rehearsed the romantic scenes shooting is. And mentioned that now SaiShi know each others way of working so they just deal with it and Sai has become more understanding.

These kind of questions do take their toll but its expected part of their business I am glad both take it in good spirit . I find Shivangi less annoyed or frustrated with these myriad of questions and she makes sure she says something nice or interesting.

The audio wasn't very good in the clip of her interview that I found so I missed half of what she was saying. They both have different personalities. She likes to talk, he doesn't.

Yes, he said something similar about himself in an interview and the guy is confident about his abilities, which helps. This is the advantage of being an introvert too sometimes, you don't let people mess with your head beyond a point.

Also the fact that he has a strong sense of self love

Which I think is extremely important in today’s world

Otherwise people always look for validations which damages one psychologically and emotionally

Has he done theatre?

Because method acting process is very religiously followed by them to a large extent

Completely agree. I am an intro too and I find it absolutely difficult to let anyone mess with my head in my life. Everything is cemented. The rest of the world is a blur.

I wish Anurag Kashyap would pick him for a role. He would be amazing in those kinds of movies or shows.
