I like that about an actor or for any other person for that matter

I think this not the normal bashing by original comment maker, it was a question from a concern Raghv’s fan. Mistake she did was NOT to tag the Makers of show. Sai’s reply was a humor. This was normal fun from both sides.

Not only pressure from fans, but from the channel as well. The unfortunate part is that the actors get tagged and bashed on social media because of their presence (which they have to maintain as part of their portfolio in today's day and age), not the producers or writers. The script isn't in Sai or any other actor's control. Hell, the script doesn't even seem to be in the producer's control!

If only people understood the difference between real and real entertainment industry would have been much different than what we have today.

I'm not too familiar with south TV shows and movies (don't even remotely understand any of the languages), but from whatever little I know, I think their media isn't as insane as ITV media (south bhi India mein hi hai so it should fall under the ITV umbrella, but you get what I mean).

You are right about this. In south India tv actors are not hounded by insane interviewers. Also onscreen couple is not a big thing here. Social media is only used by youngsters and fortunately they are more into real studies than shipping couple online and offline.😆

These actors are hounded for their time - kabhi what's in their bag, what's in their tiffin ka dabba, what's on their phone, who's on their phone, whereas all they want to do is show up to work, do their work, and then go home. They treat their work as their day job and not as a brand endorsement.

You know I am in a way glad that this show is airing in pandemic. Imagine the discomfort actors would be feeling if interviewers were to come to set and make them play weird games and what not. Sai would have gone mad for sure.😆

@ bold: Absolutely! I do think he might get typecast in the beginning and may get similar roles. Very few writers can grasp the difference between a typical angry, young man male lead (ie. Maan Singh Khurana, Arnav Singh Raizada, etc.) and RR. This character is fairly niche and I think a lot of producers will try to mimic it going forward.

Also, I don't think he was necessarily scolding. Bas normal jawab hi tha, I just found it funny because I took it as a sarcastic jab and that aligns with my sense of humour. 😆

My thoughts in red.

Sai is lucky to get such a layered character to play in his first show. I hope he gets equally interesting roles in future too.

Poor thing. He handles his fame well but I wish people could be more responsible with their comments. Social media anonymity has given people the right to bash people without thinking twice. I bet they would not say such things if they came face to face with the same people they bash online.

Sai is still sweet to respond to messages and stuff.

Yes he has been doing his best, considering all of this was unexpected. Receiving so much attention so quickly can be daunting and just as fans can gush, they can bash irresponsibly too. On top of that, for introverts like Sai, it's really really tough to deal with such things, especially when you are trying to make yourself accessible to people and stay grounded.

Why do we expect actors to always be thick-skinned? They have feelings too and are judged by the public all the time. The least fans can do is be respectful and constructive in their feedback process.

This is why a lot of actors avoid social media because they'd rather have their headspace clear and accept the tradeoff of less visibility to fans. They focus on their work and get on with their lives.

He is replying in quite a good manner

Rather reminding that he only gave the name and it’s ironical that he is only told of that

But not scolding I think

I can imagine him facepalming at 95% of the tweets. 😆

Somehow his acting just blew my mind

I always wonder, how does he make the angst feel so real

How does he trigger that within him

I have rarely seen ITV actors do that

Theatre actors yes

But film and ITV rarely

Because he's naturally gifted and he feels emotions deeply. In his recent interview he said he doesn't use glycerin 80% of the time, which is quite amazing for someone who's relatively new to this field.

He focuses on his craft and tries to improve himself all the time. Results are visible on screen. Compare his first drunken scene with the recent one. Huge improvement!

I too would like to see him more in Hindi shows because it gives him wider platform but I don't want him to lose his peace of mind for it.

I think every couple of years there are one or two amazing shows that come out on ITV with brilliant stories and casts, and he might pick something like that up. At least, I hope someone will write a part that suits him.

He's got the personality, skill set, good voice, good physique and a charming screen presence. Sab kuch hai.

Exactly! Complete package. Nazar na lage.

I wish Anurag Kashyap would pick him for a role. He would be amazing in those kinds of movies or shows.
