The entire episode again highlights how easily women are insulted irrespective of their status in society.

Monty is one of those men who love controlling women. From the behaviour shown, monty seems to be a abuser. Honestly, again soch matters not country.

The humiliation that anokhi has to face just for being a girl. It literally felt like Monty's mom was vegetable shopping. It was disgusting. No one stood up for her except her own self. Her subtle taunts and sarcasm were her defence. Here was a woman who knew her worth. And monty was not worth it and she knew that. Maybe that is why, she did not mind marrying shaurya later. Because she knew who and what he was. His good and bad.

She again takes a stand for her mother.❤️ Babli and Vicky , a clear unfinished story full of love. My biggest what if of this story ...🥺

Shaurya is a pig sometimes. Okay. Most times in the beginning. But also, how unsure of life is the boy. He definitely was hurt by Shagun. Not by her leaving but more by the fact that he was a second choice. Again devi manipulates him and uses him as a tool to insult Shagun in name of Saberwal pride.

Anokhi and the peace trains bring her❤️. She just wants to escape and build a life. Be independent. Find some footing in this world.

On a side note, Shagun really never understood Shaurya's issues with his mother. She knew it but never really got it. It was quite evident.

"Yeh aage nikhal gayi aur hume peeche chod diya"

Shaurya is afraid of being left behind for London. He equates Shagun to Aastha currently. He sees her decision as prioritizing something/someone over him. This will slowly change when he starts seeing all the positive qualities in Anokhi and attribute that to Aastha as well; which I think eventually helps his healing. Shaurya is soooo petty. His speech at the farewell and his feelings being egged on by Devi don't help. Shaurya continues to wear a mask and it slipped in anger for a second when he called out Shagun for "becharepan ka naatak". We know there's a human being under all that show.

Women have a choice....to stand with or against each other. In a world of Mrs. Khannas, be a Anokhi Bhalla.

The way Anokhi was treated like a piece of meat 😡. Checking her skin color, hair, hands, feet, walk, homemaking skills, language, etc. This is how animals are treated at auctions. And then Anokhi having to ask permission for her education......no wonder she was so adamant that she didn't need Shaurya to allow her to pursue her studies!

The audacity of Ramesh Bhalla to call Rama a zero at being a wife, bahu, and mother. WTF is Mr.Bhalla other than a TC for the railways. He's a big fat zero in all other fronts! I'm so glad that Anokhi stood up for her mom. Rama Bhalla is a housewife, but that job encompasses her being everything from a cook to a cleaner to a tailor to a nurse!

Men's inaction and women's silence continue to perpetuate the problem.

Side note: Shaurya and Monty giving Shagun and Anokhi a mauka to be their wives is nauseating. Added to that Monty thought he could tame the sherni....laughable!

You have said exactly what I saw.

The creepiness of Anokhi being checked out by Monty and then followed by the mother of the latter.

Mr Bhalla ready to go to any extent to get rid of Anokhi at the first opportunity.

Shaurya, Shaurya, Shaurya, As someone said he can be a pig sometime. It looks more like he is a puppet in the hands of BM and the latter knows what to say to wind him up and get him to do what she wants.

Her reason for asking him to attend the party is such a lie... Incredible how some people live in a universe of their making and feel they are always right and above everybody else.

Again, there is not one iota of sign that shows that Shaurya and Shagun have been in love... The Shagun who comes in the latter stage does make the effort of touching Shaurya to show some possessiveness, but unfortunately, all I see here is a well dressed lady, going to Cambridge, hoping to convince Shaurya to continue with the engagement. The question she should be asking herself why did she jide it from Shaurya, this will give her the answer for the future...

Looking forward to Monday for the next SAAKK rendez-vous...

Hurray !!!Mr.Bhalla praised Nikki puttar by saying lakhon mein ek ...Really!.not bad well advertized your daughter Bhalla saab.Ramaa's look to Mr.Bhalla is all of us.Unbelievable!!!

Shaurya broody Sabherwal still fighting hard with ego and hurt from the past to attend Shagun's farewell party.Badi maa's eulogy about Sabherwal's big heart convinced Shaurya to attend the same. She gave an ego boost by saying Shagun is the one who is at fault.she is so kind to order flowers for Shagun.....awww how kind Badi maa is!!smiley13If not for badi maa he would have never attended the party.

Babli lets her hair down and dances merrily. Its so good to see her happy and DJ wale babu has successfully made her forget worries for few moments.Trippy Babli and trip down memory lane with Vicky....Nice.Falak is such graceful dancer....

Shagun thanks SIAC and our professor makes his entry with flowers.Shagun awstruck for awhile.with a glimmer of hope..Shaurya gestures to continue and she continues.Shagun is attracted to and got attached to Shaurya.I cannot label it as love.He gives flowers to her and a eyelock filled with hurt and anger.

Shaurya takes a dig at her and congratulates her making her feel miserable. He says good words about her ending with sarcastic words.Faculty calls him gentleman....not really!!

Clown and party inspect Anokhi as if she is vegetable or a doll. That was horrible to watch.Khanna lady pulling Nikki's hair, inspecting her skin and english testing.....Nikki's one look at Mr.Bhalla and Ramaa....asking why she has to face such humiliation.Bhalla still feels its ok.He again praised Nikki saying she smart to learn household chores soon.Nikki's farratedaar angezi ne khannas ki lagadi watt.Bhalla insulting Ramaa was disgusting. Please someone put tape on his mouth.Anokhi tries to defend Ramaa and he strikes again. He is ready to turn his daughter into maid for marriage.Shame of a father.

Shagun pleads Shaurya again but he puts all the blame on her.The wounds of past still raw for Shaurya, wanting to be top priority to someone, wanting to belonged to someone is so strong that he is not thinking straight.Figjting with inner demons.

Train's horn relaxes Anokhi as if she us reminded 9f her dreams by that sound. She does not get tired and the horn does not stop motivating her.Thinking she escaped from Khannas..she plans to excel in SIAC .

Shagun asks Shaurya for a chance and he seems to agree.Anokhi ....hoping to fly high.

Babli looked so happy with DJ. They make a nice pair. DJ still loves Babli and knows the abuse that she faces in her marriage. Can't understand why the makers did not bring him back towards the end.

The way Monty's mother was checking Anokhi was too bad. But at least a part of this happens to many girls in our society. Girls are made to stand like a display piece and the boy's family ask some silly questions . Good that these customs are slowly changing and the girl and boy meet in a common place like a restaurant. Anokhi's answer to Mrs Khanna that both she and Raja bhaiya don't know cooking was great.

Yes Shaurya is equating Shagun to Aastha now. The problem is I think he does not know the exact reason of why Aastha left him. She had to leave him because she could not have a career in that house and she had to support her parents. But since Shaurya thinks that his mother left him for her career he does not want his wife to have a career. And he feels that Aastha was so much involved in her career that she never tried to see him even when he was sick. But the truth was that Aastha was not allowed to see him. I think his healing process started when he came to know that his mother was involved in his activities be his school day or sports day but was at a distance. Makers never showed us this part much as to why exactly Astha did not see Shaurya for 25 years.

He is having the same fear with Shagun now. Though Shaurya and Shagun were dating each other for 2 years I think they never understood each other.

The Aastha and Shaurya track really got shafted. I wish we had gotten a slow build after sindoor shaadi. It’s not enough that she attended his events as a kid. She should’ve gone and seen him after he was 18, a legal adult. She waited a decade too late and then used Anokhi as an entrance point. I’m not sure what the CVs intended to do with this track, but it definitely did not come to full fruition. They sped it up for the shaadi track. And ShaKhi never had a conversation that we saw about Aastha again.

@bold: These early episodes really gave us an idea of how Shaurya was played by Devi. He really was the puppet. She pulled the strings and he dance to her tune. His anger towards his parents were always instigated by her.

Looking at the pigheaded shaurya makes me think, we give him too much leverage because of his past. While it was evident that with Shagun it was always about choice and not love and hence the bitter words.

This. This is the problem of so many Indian men. When they fail or something does not go according to them. Blame the woman. Never take accountability for the child. These small instances of sexism and misogyny are so prevalent everywhere and so accepted. It's boils my blood.

Men's inaction and women's silence continue to perpetuate the problem.

Same. Like the girls need it. No. They don't. And when anokhi actually marries shaurya. She wants it does not need it.I just wished, it was less dramatic but itv.

Rightttt….Anokhi, Rama, and Shagun. Rama is stuck in her situation. Shagun is leaving. And Anokhi will fly at first chance. Different degrees of freedom for them.

Because she knew who and what he was. His good and bad.

Anokhi had always known her worth. She left when she found out Monty’s truth. She left when Shaurya insulted her in the library. She walked away after the Goa engagement fiasco. She left after a kidnapped Shaurya was found as she promised. She walked away after confession and after sindoor shaadi. She also left when the Sabherwals insulted her and Shaurya “didn’t believe” her at the end.

The only time she did wrong is when she broke up with Shaurya due to Tej’s blackmail.

She again takes a stand for her mother.❤️ Babli and Vicky , a clear unfinished story full of love. My biggest what if of this story ...🥺

DJ and his Billo will always be an adhuri kahaani!

This is the part that Shagun never understood. Her placing anything above Shaurya poked at his abandonment issues. And Shaurya never loved Shagun enough to fight to be her first choice.
Unlike with Anokhi, he was okay with her prioritizing her education because he loved her and just wanted a place in her life. He was willing to prove himself worthy of Anokhi. To me it seemed like he had more faith in Anokhi’s love for him than he did with Shagun.

Anokhi and the peace trains bring her❤️. She just wants to escape and build a life. Be independent. Find some footing in this world.

On a side note, Shagun really never understood Shaurya's issues with his mother. She knew it but never really got it. It was quite evident.

I wonder how Shagun 2.0 recognized Aastha when we never saw Shaurya talking about his mom.

Having missed the initial episodes, now I can better understand him and where he is coming from. His behaviour later on can be explained.

Looking forward to tomorrow and 13th episode.
