Absolutely true. It felt like all news article writers have some personal grudge against SMP. Very poor journalism.

No, it is just that all newspapers want to sell news. The news that sells in India unfortunately is bad news. So, the journalists are trained to write bad news stories. True for all newspapers in India irrespective of prestige. I know from personal experience having given numerous interviews. They come hunting for stories behind bad/sensational news and terminate the call if you say that the interpretation is wrong - the news is actually very good. I have dealt with most English language newspapers (except one southern key newspaper) so I speak from experience. My experience of course :).

As this season draws to a close I am filled with trepidation about the future of adult reality shows on Sony TV.
The love angle masala started with Neha-Aditya, spread to Shweta - Subhronil in IBD and reached its crescendo in Idol 12.
This masala mix Sony will not give up in a hurry. I really worry about future shows. Maybe they will start shortlisting talent with an eye towards potential "jodis"!? Have a villain thrown in also for good measure!

It will ultimately mean script starts revolving around pairs and music/dancing will go for a toss as core product.

Dangerous trend and dangerous days ahead.
