Cynically in the beginning I did wonder if there was a bit of the sympathy vote too considering she was going through a pretty terrible time around the time it was released. But that doesn't account for its continued success; clearly both fandoms are both large enough and engaged enough to keep this train chugging. Suppose it helps they aren't wasting their time fighting each on stupid things either

I agree with you Arshi just feel deflated about the MV because I hate to say it without the BTS and their friendship this MV will just seem fake and a slap to me. Because I don't care about the MV I care about them being friends and that translating onscreen. That is the beauty of this jodi their friendship and I just need to know that is ok.

Exactly 😭 as I said to Nikki, I hope I'm wrong and we get a bauchaar of fun BTS confirming that they are still good friends etc. Genuinely, that is pretty much the only thing I care about at this point. MV or no MV, all I really need is for *some* interaction between them to prove everything is okay.

I did think the same but then it carried on and I was like oh ok. The song is nice but 255million times nice I don't think so. But yeah helps when petty children aren't involved in fandoms 😊

LOLLLLLLLLLL I agree, Sonu's choice in singer/composer is a bit off here. I generally think of him as a sorted, head-on-straight kinda guy, so maybe the extended lockdown has addled his mind a bit here and he's forgotten that it's all about QUALITY, not Kakkar's mindless toddler-esque compositions 😆 then again...was Altaf Raja the Tony Kakkar of his day? 😲😆

Or he literally had very limited options 😆 I reckon farah being the director was the swaying factor. I mean I do think Altaf had better lyrics than Tony bhaisaab. Who just rhymes his words like a three year old 🤔

Re: films, more than masala films, I honestly miss a decent romantic comedy. No-one makes rom-coms anymore, y'all 😭 not Hollywood nor Bollywood. I've been re-watching classic faves recently and wishing someone would bring them back. When you need fluff and light-hearted stories, nothing on Netflix etc. hits the spot.

Out of sheer boredom I recently watched Thappad, Pagglait, Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi and Haseen Dilruba. Of these only Thappad really stood out. Pagllait and RKT were okay but I expected them to be a bit funnier based on the promos, and my GOD was Haseen Dilruba a steaming pile of crap. God knows why Tapsee P and Vikrant Massey agreed to do it - what a waste of good actors 😡
