The primary reason Star and Zee switched to a 6 day week schedule IMO was their inability to counter Sony's weekend offerings.

bold: I think because the number of times they repeat the episodes in weekdays. Over here IPZN and KUDCA only once next day. I've noticed KRPKAB episodes repeated at least 2-3 times next day.

Don't know how many times these repeated next day in India??
