I've been mostly a detached person my whole life - only really bonded with my parents and my sister because they were the only ones that ever put me first. But you know you always wish for that soulmate - that best friend, who is the most closest person to you ever and knows everything about you. I finally found my best friend in college - and it's all thanks to her insistence of clinging to me and not giving up on me, that she is the closest person I have now and I can't imagine life without her. So yea, inherently I wished for someone like that and I got my beautiful best friend.

Are you living the life you wanted five years ago, compromising to reality, or did your want change?

I have wanted this life since ten years ago too. Peace is found within oneself and I have that. There is no compromising involved regarding the type of life but yes adjusting to little things chalta rehta hai. Yet I will always choose my life if choices were given to me. I am grateful for it.
