Rano went to see Maan. She must have told Maan about the conditions at home for Geet.

Rano is right. Geet needs to get away. Maan is the only solution.

If Geet has to marry that loser Daman, her life will be over. She thinks she can say no, but knowing her family, they will force her into it. Rano will be as helpless as Geet to stop it.
