Sadly I think he will be mentally and verbally at least not very nice to her. Hopefully not physically 🙏

yeah considering he thinks she is responsible for mashals condition...he will not be the good husband. But I heard in novel, he kept Meereen isolated from the world and that has a deep physiological impact on her. I dont want that, no matter how much he screams and all, but dont let him to this level.

We dont need to show that on tv, as it sends wrong message.

Very true but unless they show it as well how will they show the other side and how to overcome people like this.

It's sad that because of adults his liking went towards mishaal because as a kid they all liked mehreen.

Wonder if anyone is on her side.

The key point is overcoming it. Our dramas show abuse but not ways to come out of it.

If writers dont have any ideas to show progress, at least stop showing women oppression.

The khala is on her side ❤️.

The ending has been changed

The show will end differently

So we don't know how the drama will end

Mahira Khan is playing the role of a college-going girl in this play. Sorry but isn't she old enough to play this role?

I am thinking the family itself has some kind of a problem. I mean how come all the three cousins are psychos at some level?😆

I shudder to think what will happen with Mehreen once Mashal "fakes" death or actually dies out of cousin's rivalry? Aswad is definitely going to torture her..Mehreen was supposed to lose her mental sanity in the novel right? She is a bright student so they will take away her future from her also..😵

Anyway, even though the story is not out of the world..but Umera Ahmed's realistic approach never disappoints..she is just incredible in touching upon human emotions with such crystal clear vision..its like we know this happens in the society, but its all in our subconscious mind, which when she writes and its presented on screen - its like this voila moment, that "haan, yeh sach main hota hai in our day to day life"

IDK if anybody else watched the first episode again, but I did..Farooq Rind's direction in the first 10 episodes of all his shows is so effective and brilliant that sometimes I just go back to watch those, to catch the stellar direction and placement of shots..like the opening scene of grown up Mehreen-the maid-Mashal - very well done.
