For me, Homelessness is the result of govt. aids. There are some real lazy ass people in this country.

I know at least 10 relatives of mine struggling to find workers for their businesses since the start of pandemic. Employees come, work for few months and then files for unemployment. Coz hey, why work when govt pays you without working. And all of those unemployment money is spent within a week. Then waiting for more freebies. 🤷‍♀️ And at the same time cribbing about pandemic caused economic loss.

No offense but this is such a privileged view. People don't want to work slave wages so of course they work the system and collect unemployment instead. There are hardly any truly lazy people. They're trying to make the decision that suits them more financially. Pay more and you won't be struggling to find employees.

Lazy ass people in places like LA where the rent is way higher than the minimum wage salary and a lot of the housing area in poorer neighborhoods demolished due to gentrification? Also when people are dying or have relatives who are at risk and a lot of the businesses got closed due to lockdown. Maybe your relatives could try raising pay .

Also a major issue is that kids have not been in school for more than a year in most places. How are parents supposed to leave them alone at home and go work minimum wage jobs?

This time was a cute break for people can sit on their laptops in their living rooms and work from home. It's not the same for less privileged ones.

I saw this story of a man few months back who took his kids along with him while doing Doordash delivery and his car got stolen along with the kids ( thankfully the police were able to find the kids and the car ). It’s scary that parents even have to take that kind of risk.
