Who writes dialogues for Virat

There is some issue with dialogues given to Virat..He is not coming across as a strong character...The moment he enters he says sorry and talks about how Sai should not have left and should have listened to his words calmly amd they would have sorted it and this..this would not have happened.. He told Sai that she was not listening to him when she was out in the rains and he was stopping her.. Did he heard himself when he spoke all this.. Did he give her any reason to talk..he was not even ready to accept the answer she gave multiple times to the question he asked again and again till she was hit by the car.. He kept on asking her..without gathering anything else she said and wanted what answers god knows.. And what was with the direction..who talks like that the moment he enters..without asking how Sai is feeling.. The moment she is up he starts talking about the accident...standing 2ft apart.. Won't anybody go and sit near the patient and talk with patience..It looked he is talking to wall... it's frustrating to see..scenes like these getting spoilt because of direction and dialogues...

He did not want to talk about the mistakes he made..well that's his usual...make a mistake wallow in self pity and then says please don't talk about it..please please.. Oh god..that was frustrating to watch...And then he wants to talk about Sai coming back to Chavans👏 Don't talk about my mistakes...Come back to CN and I will make everything alright ..👏👏 Ye maine pehle bhi suna hai..Deja vu kya 😆

And self victimization continues when the doctor comes into check her.. Meri patni nahi chahti ki main yaha rahun..Virat wallowing in self pity Chavhan is back..

Who the hell is writing this man's dialogues...What have they reduced him into ? Exactly what? Sai has good dialogues..Mohit has good ones..Shivani has good ones.. Pulkit as well go some gaadi ones...What's with Virat? Why are they reducing him to be such a spineless man??The man who subtly wrote Sai's new name as Sai..I don't see him anymore..Don't do this to Virat Chavhan makers..Please ..

The only good part about these bad dialogues was Neil and his portrayal..He portrayed his hurt really well and utters such atrocious dialogues with so much conviction and emotion....The way he broke seeing Sai that way melted my heart..felt real there..we can't see our loved ones that way......Sai had great dialogues amd Ayesha was great...Can't see Sai lying like that lifeless...

I don't want makers finding resemblance and Virat anymore..Virat has crossed his limits too many times to find similarities with Sai's Aaba.. That man loved his daughter like crazy.. He was her home..

100% agree. I still found episode emotional only because of the performance. Because apart from usual screw ups, atleast virat finally said he wants a regular marriage- baaki pati patni ki tarah. So some progress. But i hope they give is more Sairat conversation scenes. They cant resolve this conflict too easily..we need to see honest conversations.

I definitely was annoyed by the direction. logically if you walk into a patients room the very first thing Anyone would say/do is to check how they are feeling, are they in discomfort or pain, do they want water/change in position/want to use the bathroom, get an extra blanket....but nahi. Yahan toh sai looks like shes having a dream with aabaa and shes calling out to him n bam- virat starts his pravachan saying "I'm sorry but you should not have run away".arey bhai- pahle go sit near her bed. Ask her if she needs something. Then you can chit chat. That is basic. How did the director not take 30 secs to do that?!

Also what was with that awkward height difference between chair n bed. Bed was low, chair was high, virat looked so uncomfortable sitting on the chair leaning forward in an awkward angle.

Makers really need to pay attention to small things..

At one point she was struggling to speak. They didn't even make him give her water or hold her. So frustrating !!

They could have added a line ...take care, get well or I just want to see you well ..he could've touched her shoulder. What's the thinking behind these kind of gaffes!!

I had made fun of his sitting style yesterday on in SM thread...

I also pointed out how I did not like the whole talk and how it started...with him talking from that distance without even asking if Sai needs anything... and I am still not sure why they needed him to stand at the door and talk...the whole talking BS with doctor also was something I rolled my eyes at...Only one good dialogue about wanting a normal relation with Sai.. That's it.. He looked too desperate to take Sai home and wanted to avoid any other topic and that way he looked very selfish and insensitive to me..

Actually I don’t agree .. the direction was bad because they showed virat standing at the door .. most probably it was a solo act .. as ayesha says most of the times in heavy dialogues she starts laughing .. So I guess they make them say those senti ones on their own ..

Both need to work hard for joint acts .. when they do it by themselves .. the intensity gets reduced ..

but the dialogue was a of a man who wants to-damage control . it’s a typical human behaviour to try covering up ur mistake .. he saw her he got nervous .. and he started blabbering why did u run away .. we could have talked ..

In Hindi we call it safai dena ..

Sai was having none of it .. she started firing him left right

That why should I stay back to listen to you .. and she told him quite a few things ..if he had entered with an apology .. and asked how are u .. the tone of the anger would have ebbed .. for Sai .. he started faltering at the Beginning and it gave Sai the cue..

even ashwini was well etched she entered when doctor was there .. she apologised for herself and her son .. but she did mention why is virat getting possessive.. she might scold her son in public . But she wants to save his marriage.and it’s a typical mother in law behaviour cajoling the Dil to be big and forgive everything .

Virat did not want to talk about what has happened. Because he is clearly at fault .. and does not want to reiterate with his wife .. it’s a typical couple behaviour where the wrong partner wants to just forget the mistake and look ahead ..

If we compare it with Sai’s hospital GC where virat saved her .. you can see the difference in virat’s demeanour .. that time he was not at fault.. he was aggressive.. dominant in control ..

Right now the worried husband wants to damage control .. that’s why he put all his cards in the table ..He tells her he does not want to lose her .. wants to stay with her and wants a real marriage with her ..quite an achievement for somebody who was bottled up for ages ..

Agree 200%. The dialogues made him seem like a victim rather than the person who made this whole thing happen, and they seriously detracted from Neil’s excellent performance over the last 3 days (the less said about Monday, the better 😆). I felt more of a connect with Mohit and Sai’s scene than with SaiRat’s scene, thanks to these weird dialogues, and of course Adish’s natural acting. Actually the dialogues make it look like both Virat and KBA choose to victimise themselves instead of thinking of the actual victims of their nonsense not-love-but-something story - Samrat and Sai. And that might be KBA’s modus operandi, but that’s not who and what Virat has been shown to be. I understand the compulsion to do a copy paste of the Bengali, but Virat is not Rono - he is more sensitive and nuanced - then why make the dialogues like this? I actually didn’t even like Sai’s dialogues that much today, to be honest. Also adding to Neeraja’s point above - Mohit touched Sai’s shoulder, and Pulkit held her hand and sat at her bedside - but the husband who loves her was shown to be socially distancing. It looked really odd.
