But yes, they had a lot of damsel in distress/mary-sue type female characters, it took me a while to understand what type of kdramas I liked vs not.

I have noticed this among many folks - CLOY has been interpreted in many diff. ways. Some call it like a Bollywood drama so they don't like it. For others - there're too many unrealistic romantic expectations there.

I on the other hand had another perspective than these I guess.

Cos I loved the overall setup & the fact that many N-Koreans have stated that it got most of their situations quite right - I applaud the makers for their efforts & courage - esp. when the N-korean govt. is also trying to actually get it off from everywhere cos they believe it's showing them in -ve light (jabki aisa kuch nahi hai)

So what kind of K-dramas do you like? Would love to hear about some new names🤗

And the cherry on top are the BTS but visually proper scene confirmation ke liye dekhna padta hai.
