I've never watched any show with so much shiddat as I watch PS that I join a forum for it.. I used to generally watch the shows for my enjoyment and then forget about it.

As far as I remember, KHKT was still balanced in terms of screen space. It was a love story but still such big family and ensemble cast. All characters be it pari, pooja, nishi, chachu, rohan ajeet had balanced tracks initially till raima came and eventually it started degrading

She was good as Pari but her character was just awful 🤢😆 no redeeming qualities. More like a whiny brat 😆

Of course, there was also the issue of less screen space for the leads. No one wants an overdose of annoying negative characters. I would say it was a bit of both.
