What do you guys feel about the Sree helping Ratul scene? I'm trying to understand the rationale behind it. If it was out of care for a "friend", which I want to believe it was, then I really appreciate it. But if it was out of a sacrifice-devi mentality then I don't appreciate it.

I highly appreciate Ratul's reaction though. He was grateful that Sree did what she did, and felt embarrassed, indicating that he will not take her for granted. Nope Sree wasn't being any Devi here.. She actually closed the notebook n laptop n was gonna keep it elsewhere.. But then she remember Ratul's word that he have to mail it next morning, hence she did it.. It was a friendly gesture nothing about dutiful wife.. It was like kaaj egiye rakha..

Ratul is actually coming back to his own self.. This sudden marriage with Sree had made him lose himself.. He wasn't able to deal with it so he was taking out his frustration on Sree.. But that isn't Ratul.. He's a polite guy so he's behaving like himself with Sree..

Yes, we have seen it before Ratul is way more sorted and mature then Sid. Yes, that sudden marriage made him loose himself as you said but again he accepted the truth much quickly then Sid.

You were having high hopes dear. The person is Uchhebabu. He doesn't even hold her hand expect the time she is hurt.

Ratul had a pretty normal n happy childhood unlike Sid who had to witness his mother in constant pain n then lost her forever.. And instead of giving him extra love n care BoroBabu send him away from family.. 🙄

@bold: Not defending Somoresh, but maybe he did it out of the fear that if Sid stayed in the same house in which he lost his mother, he would never be able to overcome the grief. Although that's what happened anyway, the intention was probably different.

We've always seen him to be someone who thinks things through rather than being swayed by emotions. And ultimately he loves and cares for Sid. So maybe, even after being misunderstood, he probably decided that it would be better for Sid to get out of this environment, hoping for an "out of sight, out of mind" kinda outcome.
