anyone here watched nisha Aur uske cousins? I think it aired on star plus long time ago but I liked the characterization of the female lead. She wasn’t a “bechari,” she was a tomboy and it felt good seeing a female protagonist in that form, because otherwise they are always so feminine. Nisha lived life on her own terms and didn’t give a fck about society’s opinion. She had the confidence to question social norms and raised her voice against injustice.

I think I might watch Churails webseries. Heard it’s progressive and feminist...my type. I’m giving up on ITV :/

I saw NAUC and I liked it until Viraj’s entry. Then I couldn’t stand Nisha Viraj’s love story and after that it become NiRaj vs NiBir only. It was very telling when they switched the montage from a photo of the cousins to Nisha Kabir Viraj. They also made Nisha less tomboyish and made the story another typical ITV one.

Yeah I shipped Nisha with Kabir more, because most of Nisha and Viraj’s story was one-sided. Initially he looked at her as a student/friend while she was in love and did the whole Aarti thing which made me cringe due to second hand embarrassment. After the press conference tho..

Kabir seemed more chill and I really liked him in the wedding episode where he let Nisha speak and stepped up only when required. Then took her to the side and asked her what she wanted privately and then took his stand. I found his reaction in that episode one of the best in ITV.

My only problem was they made Nisha a bit more girly and the story very cliche after his entry. I also didn’t like that the whole cousin bond which was the USP of the show was sidelined for both these love stories.

Haven’t seen manmarziyan but I read about it. I guess the girl is Sameera/Samaira and loved the Arjun dude while she considered Neil her friend. He sounds like a nice character though. Also why is the post mature?

SAME!! I was so inspired by her character until Virat came into the picture and I hate how she wanted to impress him. She wanted his validation so bad -__- yeah I Couldn’t believe she was transformed to become what she fought against initially (society’s version of how she should look, feminine) 👎🏼

Exactly. I couldn’t watch her going to crazy lengths to impress Viraj who wasn’t interested in her at all. The initial episodes were the best.

I liked Manmarziyan in bits and pieces because of Arjun and Radhika pairing. 😳

Also, I liked the bonding b/w the 4 of them. ❤️

Besides this, I didn't like Sam's obsession over Arjun..

Hii everyone

I was thinking of a story after todays episode where tejo leaves fateh and moves to canada. After a leap of five years we see fateh and jasmine married. Fateh and jasmine go to visit canada where they find tejo with a kid only to find out that she was married to a businessman in canada. And story moves forward.

I really loved this plot. Anyone can tell me if there is a story of same plot available or not that will be helpful.
