Remembering the significance of Guru Purnima again

Guru Purnima is one of the most auspicious Hindu festivals. It is celebrated on the full moon day (Purnima) in the month of 'Ashadha'. On this day, disciples pay respect to their gurus.

The word 'guru' is derived from two Sanskrit words, Gu and Ru, which together mean the one who dispels the darkness and takes towards the light. Thus, 'guru' simply refers to the spiritual guide who enlightens disciples with his knowledge and teachings.

Guru Purnima is also known as Vyasa Purnima because the sage who wrote the famous Hindu epic Mahabharata, was born to Satyavati and Sage Parashar on this day. Some devotees offer prayers to Veda Vyasa on this day for knowledge and wisdom.

Vibha there are temples in every nook and corner in our city. So on wearing mask you are allowed. Moreover these times the resident diety "Poochamma "(an incarnation of Durga MA) festival is up and the government is busy minting money and vote bank.

Now it is up-to the public to keep themselves safe. Yesterday too there was crowd and to top of it afternoon lunch was served for free. You can guess the situation. I came back once Aarti done.
